Help us get out of abusive home

I am a single parent with an eight year old child, unfortunately I cannot go into too much detail about my situation because I am afraid of what will happen if this is found by family or my ex.

Lately things have taken a turn for the worse for us, my ex has been emotionally abusive to us both for years, it has gotten to the point where my eight year old has started talking about self harm and suicide at school..

If that isn't bad enough, there has now been a cased opened looking into possible sexual abuse and that is the last straw

I need to get a lawyer to help me obtain full custody of my child and a protection order to keep us safe, I found a nice lawyer who will require a 2500$ retainer.

It is also imperative that I move my self and my child to a safe place where my ex will not be able to find us and hurt us anymore, if the goal is met I will be using the remaining donations to help fund our move and keep us afloat until I can find a more permanent solution.
