Team Madden: Manz Family Fund

Madden Jeffrey Manz entered Jenna and Jeff's lives and hearts on September 30, 2014.  It was not known at the time, but Madden would soon show the world his true strength and resilence.

A few short weeks after birth, Madden was admitted to the hospital with concerns of low weight gain and difficulty breathing.

After numerous rounds of testing, scans, doctors visits, and difficult nights spent in the PICU, Madden was ultimately diagnosed with ChariType I malformation in August 2015.   CM is when part of the cerebellum sits below the foramen magnum, putting pressure on the brainstem.

On September 21st - just a few weeks shy of his first birthday - Madden underwent brain surgery to decompress the pressure being put on his brainstem.

Unfortunately, Madden's journey didn't end there.  In January 2016, Madden was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder called Retts Syndrome.

We hope this fund can give the Manz family the support they need to continue to take every step in this journey as comfortably as they can.

They are an amazing family, who deseve amazing things.  Together we can make a difference, raise awareness for Retts and lend them our support.
