<div>Hello, my name is George Okara. I live in Tanzania, and every day I witness a heartbreaking reality: children living on the streets, sleeping in unsafe places, and struggling just to survive. Some sleep near garbage sites. Others go to bed hungry. These children don’t ask for much, just a chance.

<div>Many are orphans. Some come from families so poor that even one meal a day is uncertain. Others have parents who live on the streets themselves. These children are not criminals, not hopeless, they are just kids who dream of going to school, of learning, of becoming doctors, teachers, engineers. They want to build a life, not just survive one.

<div>“We don’t want to live like this. We want to go to school.”
