<div>Hi everyone. As many of you may have heard, our dearest friend <strong>Phillip Smith had a heart attack Sunday, August 10th</strong>. He was life-flighted to Banner Health in Casper and found out that he has three blocked arteries. He is still undergoing tests to determine if he will need open-heart triple bypass surgery, but that will most likely be the case.

About The Body Day Spa has been closed due to the COVID-19 crisis since the end of March. ATB is a true small business with employees who are struggling during this crisis.  We just turned 14, April 4. Very bitter yet sweet.  ATB has been an active part of the community and misses taking care of Sumter.  It’s very humbling to reach out and ask for donations but this business is one of my 3 pride and joys that I have, the 2 others being my twin daughters.  I’ve applied for the emergency SBA loan &amp; the PPP loan but haven’t heard anything (*it ran out money before mine was approved, hoping congress comes back with more) and the stress is very real that I feel. The bills keep coming. The order to stay closed got extended so the situation is even more overwhelming. Hey everyone. My name is Jaclyn Lefebvre. I have created a GoFundMe for one of my best friends, Yvonne Sexton, to assist with funeral expenses for her mother. On a long drive home from a vacation she had got news that her fur baby, Sassy, had passed away. Then upon arrival to her home she received news that her mother also unexpectedly just passed an hour or 2 prior. Being the death was unexpected, expenses for a funeral were not in order. Simultaneously, she is planning for a funeral, dealing with the passing of her mother and dog, and finding funds to ensure a proper service. As many of you know, juggling all of this is not easy and is rather difficult during such an emotional and stressful time in one's life. So to help with Yvonne's situation and attempt to reduce some of the stress associated I have set up a GoFundMe.For those who know Yvonne, she is a charismatic, loving, caring individual who goes out of her way to take care of others and do things for people, even those she barely knows.  Asking for money is never easy and I am aware money is tight but if you have any spare change to donate to assist with costs that would be much appreciated . Funeral expenses

I feel pretty awkward doing this, but at this point I need a little help. As many of you know, my 2 year old golden retriever Ruca has been sick off and on  since the beginning of last June, almost 1 year ago. It took 6 months (and thousands of dollars) to figure out he (probably) has immune mediated meningitis. While prednisone usually takes care of that pretty quickly, Ruca did not react well to the steroids and I had to change him to a different immuno-suppressive (cyclosporine) which is about $250 a month. <br /><br />Although it's definitely been a stressful experience, I've been managing the expense on my own (with some initial help from Eric). And it's been worth it. Ruca is my best friend, and with all the new changes and stresses of the last year for us, if I didn't have him by my side I really don't know what kind of shape I'd be in. Many of you have seen glimpses of what that would look like.<br /><br />While the meningitis is still under control, Ruca is now being troubled by a mass under his tongue (which we've known about since December but wasn't urgent at the time) that is now getting caught between his teeth, causing him pain when he eats. I've been using a coffee grinder to grind up his kibble mixed with canned food so it's possible for him to eat, but ultimately he does need the mass out and biopsied, for which I've been given an estimate of $1,000 (that's the family vet price; the specialty hospital where we've done all the meningitis stuff quoted me double that). Meanwhile, weaning him off cyclosporine is going to take some time, but as we decrease the dosage it should get cheaper. I'm hoping to raise $500 (2 months worth of medication) for that.<br /><br />I'd be grateful for anything y'all can give, even if it's just $20. I've already gotten so much emotional support from you, my friends and family, who have followed Ruca's struggles over the past year. It really does finally look like we're getting out of this difficult time of being "regulars" at the vet--he's finally my happy puppy again!--just not without one last big punch. Thank y'all so much for the love and support you've given us already, and please forgive me for asking for a little bit more.
