<div>Logan Prescott is a wonderful 13-year-old boy who has recently been diagnosed with a rare aggressive brain stem tumor. This news has turned his and his family's life upside down, bringing challenges that no child or parent should ever have to face.
</div>
<div>Logan Prescott is a bright 7th grader who loves the great outdoors and riding his bike around town with his friends. Recently all things changed for this bright courageous, brave boy!
</div>
<div>Logan's days are now filled with an unknown hospital stay, radiation treatments, and countless doctors appointments with multiple teams of doctor's. His family is doing everything they can to support him. His loving parents George Prescott and Andrea Prescott have not left his side.
</div>
<div>As Logan and his loved ones navigate this difficult journey, they are facing mounting medical bills and the added burden of travel expenses. The family is doing their best to stay strong, but they need the support from their community right now more than ever. Every donation will help ease the financial strain, allowing Logan's family to focus on what matters most-caring for Logan and being by his side every step of the way.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The Prescott family is in need of all the prayers at this time. Your kindness, generosity, and support will make a world of difference for Logan and his family. Please consider donating, sharing this fundraiser. Please keep Logan in your thoughts and prayers.

Support for Logan Prescott

<div>Hey, it's your old pal Joe. As most of you have probably heard, <strong>my good buddy Steve Burtman was severely injured in a violent criminal incident at his workplace.</strong> Steve suffered major injuries to his jaw and mouth that will require multiple reconstructive surgeries over the next few months, along with additional months of rehab and recovery. To everyone who knows him, Steve is basically everyone's best friend. To know him is to love him. He would do anything for his friends, family, or even someone he just met who happened to be in need. He is the funniest human I personally have ever met. He was one of the first friends I made when I moved to Lowell. He brings joy to everyone he meets.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Steve has a challenging road ahead. He, his wife, and his family will need a lot of support as he works through his recovery from this terrible incident. I have been asked by the Burtman family to manage this fundraiser, which will help defray his medical costs that aren't covered by insurance, along with other financial needs as he is likely to be unable to return to work for quite some time. <strong>I have set an initial goal of $25,000 for this campaign</strong>, but this may evolve as we learn more about the details of his condition and recovery timetable.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><strong>Please give whatever you can. As always with these things, every little bit helps, no matter how small the amount.</strong> Please also share this GoFundMe far and wide. The more visibility it gets, the better. Every little bit helps.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Updates on Steve's progress will be provided here as new developments become available.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Thank you so much in advance for your generosity.

</div>

Help us with Steve Burtman's Recovery!

<div>Last Wednesday, a heartbreaking incident occurred involving a beloved member of our Bedford High School community. One of our dedicated custodians, Agha Muradi had his car stolen in the early hours of the morning. Tragically, the car was later crashed, resulting in the death of a 13-year-old who had been inside.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This situation is devastating on every level — for the young life lost and also for our custodian, who is now left without the car he had only recently purchased. Before this, he was biking to and from work at BHS. The car had allowed him to take on additional hours as an Uber Eats driver to earn extra income. He was using that money to support his wife and child.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Unfortunately, insurance is not covering the loss of his car, leaving him in a difficult financial position.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now, our Bedford community is coming together to lift Agha up in this time of need. We are raising funds to either purchase a used car for him or repair a donated vehicle. Any additional funds will go toward his insurance, rent, and other immediate needs.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Let’s rally around Aghar and show him what the Bedford spirit is all about.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This fundraiser is being put together by Danielle LeColst with Agha Muradi as the beneficiary, receiving the funds. I (Danielle) am raising money for Agha as a new friend / helpful patron.
</div>
<div>Once the Go Fund Me is completed, the funds will be transferred to Agha's bank account and I will assist him on purchasing his car.
</div>
<div>The funds will be spent on purchasing a car, Agha's state and town car taxes, and car insurance. Any left over money will go toward Agha's rent.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>LET’S DO THIS, BEDFORD!
</div>

<div>*Sometimes it's nice to do good deeds somewhat privately (thus, we are not interested in news outlets or media outlets). Thank you!*

Help BHS Custodian Rebuild After Car Theft Tragedy

<div>Tragedy has struck the life of <strong>Chef Paul Lopez and his family</strong> while home in Jamaica this winter. Paul was in a severe automobile accident on February 1st and is currently in University Hospital in Kingston, Jamaica. He suffered fractures of his legs, feet, pelvis, and neck and was in surgery after the accident for 18 hours. On February 12th, sepsis had set into one of his legs and that leg had to be amputated. They are treating him now to stabilize the infection in order to be able to perform more needed surgery.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>His wife Rhona and his kids have rented a place to stay near the hospital as it is an hour and a half from their home in Ocho Rios. Paul’s attitude is good. He is a man of faith and fortitude. The road ahead, however, is long and fraught with challenges, financial and otherwise, and Paul and his family could really use the help of his Nantucket family.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Paul has been a seasonal “steady as you go” rock star in the kitchens of Nantucket for a couple of decades now. He has come for the long season on an H2B visa and returned home every winter to be with his family and tend his little farm. Paul is the epitome of the hard-working H2B visa recipient who keeps our kitchens world-class here on the island. He would work two jobs seven days a week. If you have eaten out on Nantucket, Paul has probably prepped or made your meal - breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>He worked with Marshall Thompson and crew at The Even Keel Cafe, Jetties Beach Bar and Restaurant, Surfside Beach Shack and Taco Truck, and with Patty Kennedy and Chef Ron and their fantastic staff at the DownyFlake. Paul also worked with Patrick Ridge at Island Kitchen and with the Wheldens at The Lobster Trap, and Al Cunha and Neil and Ed Grennan at The Languedoc, and his all-time favorite - shucking scallops in the shanty with Evie Sylvia!

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Right now, Paul and his family are taking things a day at a time. <strong>There will be a lot of financial challenges ahead.</strong> If you can make a donation to this GoFundMe for Paul, it will be so helpful as they navigate the days, weeks, and months ahead.

Fuel SAE Aero UW's Journey to Success

<div>Hello Friends and Family, I hope everyone is having a great summer. I am happy to report some positive news in my life and will hopefully bring some joy to yours.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>At the end of last year, I joined the <a href="https://www.maranyundo.org/our-story" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><a href="https://www.maranyundo.org/our-story" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://www.maranyundo.org/our-story</a></a> development committee. A school in Rwanda that as some of you know my Mom, Kim has been involved with the school in years past. I was fortunate enough to visit the school in 2022 with my mom and sister.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>After leaving Rwanda and specifically the school, I felt inspired by these young Women. They deserve all that life has to offer. They are smart, passionate and positive people. Maranyundo is known as an exceptional all-girls school in Rwanda, however, that does mean their facilities and resources come close to what most of us on this thread experienced growing up.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In late 2023 I was struggling a bit personally and I got into running. I ran my first half marathon a few months ago in San Diego. I also realized after participating in a race that we could turn a lot of these events into fundraising races. A good way to get people involved and a good way to raise money for the girls.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My goal is to raise $3,000 for the Falmouth Road Race 2024 on August 18th in Falmouth, Massachusetts. The Maranyundo Initiative, (technically based in Boston) so we chose Falmouth to increase participation.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Some of you might think I'm in great shape from the SD half marathon, but you are mistaken. I found out there is a post-race complacency that I experienced. I have some work to do over the next month to prepare but I'll be ready.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I promise a photo at the end and I seriously appreciate any amount you can give.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My goal is to run the Boston Marathon in the next 2-3 year and to organize a trip to Rwanda aiming for 2026 with an All-Star studded group to not only spend a few days with the girls but also do the famous Gorilla Trek while we still can (google if you are unfamiliar).
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please reach out if you are interested, it will be a life-changing experience.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Any amount matters, I appreciate your time and attention and please say hi to your families for me.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Love,
</div>

<div>As many may have heard we lost Jeff Brown on April 2nd from a short illness leaving his sons Liam (21) and Ryan (16) without a father. The family is devastated and is trying to navigate the way forward. Not only have the boys lost their father but the family lost their livelihood with the unfortunate closing of their family business, Lakeside Deli &amp; Grill. Lakeside Deli was opened as a lifelong dream over 10 years ago by Jeff and Annie and was a great gathering place for the Meredith community.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Around the time Jeff became ill the deli experienced a devastating pipe burst and water damage necessitated a lengthy closure while the landlord was meant to fix the damage. The deli closed on February 4th and has been unable to open since. During this time Annie and the boys have been traveling back and forth to Boston where Jeff was hospitalized. Now we have found out that the lease cannot be renewed not allowing them to reopen and they will have to figure out a new means to support the family — all at the same time as losing Jeff.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Jeff loved Lakeside Deli and would be devastated to know that it isn’t reopening. He loved the Meredith community and always appreciated his customers. He was always helping the community out with food donations, emergencies, donations, etc.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I know the family would appreciate any support for the kids’ education, pay down business bills, etc.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>RIP Chef Jeff!!

<div>Our dear Andrew passed away on January 5th, 2023 unexpectedly at age 38. Like so many during this time, we are devastated. He was a hardworking, dedicated father and fiancé who is already greatly missed.
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>Andrew knew how to light up a room merely by his presence and easygoing personality. If you needed help in any way, he was the first person to jump up and offer his assistance. He loved his family whole heartedly and always tried his best to provide for them.
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>With that being said, his fiancé, Chelsea, not only lost the love of her life, but is now left with the financial burden of covering all the major costs of living such as the mortgage, utilities and day to day needs of Andrew’s steps son Calin (age 5) and son Beaux (10 months old). As a stay at home Mom, the financial implications, have become another significant need that has been changed with the loss of Andrew.
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>Please consider making a donation to Chelsea, Calin and Beaux to help alleviate their financial stress during this time of mourning.

Hello! My name is Tanya Randolph, the Ambassador of Philanthropy &amp; Community Outreach for Great NH Restaurants. I am starting this fund as a way to help support our 550+ employees who are currently out of work due to the limitations put on the restaurant industry from COVID-19.<br /><br /><br />As you are well aware, our restaurants are still open for takeout but our hourly employees have been temporarily laid off due to our customer counts being down over 80%. They are currently collecting unemployment but that does not come anywhere near what they were making when employed and what is needed to support their families during this time.<br /><br /><br />I'm asking donors to be as generous as they can to help reach the goal of raising $100,000 each week. I will be distributing the funds raised amongst each of our 550+ employees who are currently out of work.<br /><br /><br />**We’re so grateful to be starting this fund with a $25,000 contribution from takeout tips that our generous guests have left over the past week at our restaurants**<br /><br /><br />Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to being able to provide great food and service in-house at our restaurants as soon as possible!<br /><br /><br />Sincerely,<br />Tanya Randolph<br />Ambassador of Philanthropy &amp; Community Outreach<br />Great NH Restaurants

Hunter Gebo is a 7 year old from Manchester NH. He has been a member of the Stealth Squad at USA Ninja Challenge and is in his first year of competing in the National Ninja League competitions. <br /><br />Ninja obstacles are not the only obstacles Hunter has conquered. Hunter was born with a condition called Microtia which translates to “little ear”. He has a deformed ear on his left side and with no ear canal he experiences a significant hearing loss. But even faced with possible adversity due to hearing challenges, Hunters mom and dad wanted to always make sure he knew he could do whatever he put his mind to doing. So when Hunter told them he wanted to become a competitive ninja and eventually make it on the American Ninja Warrior Junior show, they set out to help him conquer his dream. <br /><br /><br />On January 25th down in Windsor Connecticut at the Real Life Ninja Academy, Hunters dreams started to become a reality. At his last National Ninja League competition of the season he secured his spot as a qualifier for the National Ninja League World Competitions in North Carolina. We were surprised and filled with joy when he qualified but now we face the financial challenges of making Hunters dream a reality. <br /><br />Every competition comes with a cost. Whether it be for travel, hotel stay and registration fees the cost adds up. We as a family have been willing to do what it takes and we are asking for support in being able to help Hunter achieve his goals. <br /><br />Please help this ninja get to North Carolina!

Fran Michaud is a bartender at Hudson T-BONES.  She has been an employee of Great NH Restaurants for over 24 years! During this time Fran has dedicated her life to her husband, two daughters and her grandchildren, all the while giving top-notch service to everyone at T-BONES!  She is by far a “fan favorite” to all of the regulars who come into the lounge.   <br /><br />A little over 13 years ago, Fran was diagnosed with stage 3, Grade 1 Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Fran took this information in stride and  with the support of her family they fought together to do everything to get her to remission.  Fran went through treatments for four months and was able to beat it into remission all while continuing to work.<br /><br />Fast forward to the spring of 2018; Fran began not feeling well, and immediately knew she needed to check in with her doctor. This is when she found out the terrible news that her Lymphoma had made its way back stronger than before. Fran is the most incredible woman; she has not, and will not, let this disease get her down. She is a fighter and is willing to do anything she can to fight this.  Over the 24 years at T-BONES Fran has been so giving of her time and generosity.  <br /><br /> We are asking all of you to stand behind Fran during this difficult time. Let’s fight for her, let’s rally for her just as she has always done for so many of us. We love you Fran! <br /><br />

Andy is a caring and longtime friend to many people in Southern New Hampshire. He is a loving father to 6 year old Andrew and adoring husband to his wife Julie. Tragedy struck the Lascher family right before the holidays. Andy had his tonsils out the day before Thanksgiving and it was informed it was cancerous. Since then he has had another surgery to remove the mass on his neck along with the muscle to the left of where his tonsils were. Towards the end of January, he will have 5-6 weeks of radiation and then another 2-4 weeks of building his health back. This means Andy will be out of work until the beginning of April leaving him and his family financially strained. <br /><br /> Andy is the bar manager of the Copper Door Restaurant in Salem. His co-workers and managers have nothing but amazing things to say about him. <br /><br /> "Andy has been a rock-solid employee and bartender for over 25 years, a true icon at the Salem T-BONES and has recently moved to Copper Door Salem. Andy has a finance degree, yet his love for our company and the business has kept him here for many, many years. He is loved and adored by many regular guests and employees alike." -Dan Fraser, COO &amp; Owner Great NH Restaurants<br /><br /> "Andy is a man of the highest character. Loyal husband and father, generous friend, and top notch mixologist. Whether spending time with family or hanging with the boys, Andy can always be counted on for a few laughs. An avid fisherman and wine connoisseur, he enjoys watching the Pats and Bruins, and teaching his young son all of life's necessary lessons. Above all, Andy can be counted on in any situation and is there whenever someone close to him is in need." -Rick Aldrich, Friend<br /><br /> We want to make sure we can help our friend and his family in their time of need since Andy has always been there for others. <br /><br /> Last we spoke with Andy, he was in high spirits and truly shows the kind of person he is. <br /><br /> "Hanging in there trying to remain positive. I know each hour each day things will improve. Never been through so much in my entire life. Don’t worry I am resilient even in my darkest moments." -Andy

My Best Friend Malissa and her handsome smart son, Tommy needs your help!<br /><br />Tommy was in a terrible ATV accident and has suffered from a horrible head trauma. It is still to early to say the long term effects for he is still in recovery from emergency brain surgery but he is fighting hard! Please help with a donation if you can for it is so much easier to heal and focus on what's important when you do not have to worry about keeping a roof over your head, food on the table or what you are going to do when those medical bills come in. And please send all of your positive healing vibes, prayers and well wishes to an amazing kid!

On Monday, February 15th, Mint Bistro suffered severe damage due to a pipe that burst in the building.  In the end, insurance will cover the extensive repairs and renovations needed to the building.  However, during this temporary closure, the dedicated employees of Mint Bistro are without income until the insurance claim can be settled.  Even when the insurance claim is settled, claims for wages in the service industry are usually paid at a partial amount.   Any support that you can lend to your favorite servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and hosts to help gap this temporary period of uncertainty would be greatly appreciated.  <br /><br />Mint Bistro tentatively plans to re-open on March 7th.  They will post updates on their Facebook page.  In the meantime, we hope that you do what you can to support these incredibly loyal employees!

Employees of Mint Bistro

On January 3rd, 2015 our friend, brother, son, father and husband left us, leaving behind a hole we all will never fill.  Matt Allard touched all of us in an incredibly infectious way, he could make us smile with an ease that only he carried.  He was also truly selfless in his actions never thinking twice about dropping what he was doing to help, no matter the situation.  Today we have started the Matthew Allard Memorial Fund to do what he would do for us. This was established for the purpose of providing his two children an educational fund.  Thank you all and we love you Matty.
