<div><strong>Bonjour , je m appelle Hervé ,je vis en Polynésie Française à Aratika un petit atoll des Tuamotu. Je désirerais me lancer dans l apiculture, les dons me permettraient d acheter les ruches mais aussi de monter un laboratoire pour l extraction du miel ainsi que les machines. Etant pêcheur le laboratoire me servirait aussi à la transformation du poisson (salé,fumé,séché...) et à ma compagne qui va commencer l élevage de poules pondeuses. En parallèle nous souhaitons mettre à disposition les locaux et machines pour les apiculteurs de l atoll pour qu ils puissent travailler dans les meilleures conditions.</strong>

AL's Place Staff Fund

<strong>Whether you know Nerea and Jordan personally or followed them on YouTube they are a professional content creators and love to share their experiences with the world. However, they became involved in a severe tragedy off the coast of WA, barely escaping with their lives.<br /><br />Jordan was living in Western Australia, and Nerea taking some well deserved time off from filming and editing, she took up an opportunity to fly to Perth where she met with Jordan, the captain, his daughter, and the crew of a boat in order to sail to Exmouth over the coming weeks. What it should have been a great adventure turned into the scariest experience of their lives.<br /><br />Once they left Rottnest Island near Perth, they were headed to a cape North of Jurien Bay but something unexpected happened. While both girls and the other crew were resting in the back cabin, the sailboat made a turn to enter a previous Bay, Jurien Bay. It was windy and the swell big, so when it approached shallow waters to make an entrance the boat went trough 4-5 metres breaking waves, slamming it back down, capsizing the vessel, knocking the captain and its daughter overboard, and throwing the girls and the rest of the crew all over the boat.<br /><br />The whole crew injured and the vessel quickly sinking it was the quick thinking by the girls and the crew who fought steer the boat while the crew was grabbing life jackets and the emergency beacon before repeated waves breaks continued to break up the boat, keeping an eye all the time in the captain and his daughter. Once it was obvious that the boat will not survive, the crew was forced to abandon the sailboat as it sank completely within only a few minutes after the first capsize. <br /><br />Once in the water, they swam towards each other, and luckily found two more life jackets, so everybody was wearing them. Then, the Personal Locator Beacon was activated, notifying sea rescue. However, the water was still very rough and was cold, not to mention sharks are well known off this Coast so every minute counted and the crew wondered if they would ever see there loved family and friends ever again as the boat slipped into the deep. Sadly, between the confusion and the huge waves the team got separated. <br /><br />After several desperate hours floating in the torrent, clinging to their lives they were spotted by a search plane who sent out 2 vessels and rescued all of the crew in different parts of the bay. <br /><br />The important thing is that everyone survived and will make a full physical recovery. However, the vessel sank with all their personal possessions, computer, passports, clothes and camera equipment that brought us all those special memories. Nerea and Jordan are video editors and content creators, having done work professionally, either for non-fot-profit organizations or other YouTube channels with equipment she they have bought with her own money. They make a living doing what they love and sharing it with the world. But the most important thing is their well being. Since the accident they haven’t been feeling themselves, so part of the money they make here will be focused on attending counceling sessions. It is going to be a long process, but we are confident they will get trough this rough time. <br /><br />Let's help them recover physically and mentally and help them get back on their feet to the work they do and that we all love so much.<br /><br />They are still emotionally drained and they didn't want to go public to the news agencies. They are always ready to help anyone and they will do anything for their friends so this is the least we can do for them.<br /><br />For those who can help give to those who have given us so much please make a contribution towards their medical costs, assistance replacing equipment, and ALL extra funds will be donated to sea rescue and Jurien Bay Hospital all of which are part of this story of survival.</strong>

Jordan and Nerea Lost Everything in a shipwreck

<p>On September 1st our beloved non- profit K-School (Kinderenrichment) suffered tremendous and devastating damage from the strong winds and heavy rain that came with Hurricane Ida. This morning our dedicated teachers arrived to find the school under many feet of water. Virtually everything is ruined. All of the classroom materials, furniture, rugs, and books acquired over the years with love. Everything needs to be replaced. We're reaching out to the larger Millburn Coop Family and friends and asking for your help to get our kindergarten up and running for the school year.

As a former and current parent of The Millburn Coop schools, I can't put into words the impact this wonderful school has had on my family and my children. <p>For those who are not familiar with our school, The Millburn Cooperative Nursery School has been serving families from the area for over 40 years. We are a small very close knit community. In 2019, the coop jumped at the opportunity to enhance their preschool program by adding a bridge program for five year olds located in St. George’s Church at 550 Ridgewood Road, in Maplewood. This is the program that has been affected by the storm. This program is taught by two co-head teachers. We are a small progressive, play-based, non-profit Kindergarten. Help Save Millburn Coop's Kinderenrichment School

<br />For the past 13 years Bernie and crew have been a hub for us in Noe Valley - serving us delicious coffee drinks and a welcoming place to get take a load off. But, as we all know, its just as much about the caffeine as it is about getting Bernie time (and if you are lucky, Bernie hugs).  I know I am not alone when I think about the Bernie chat sessions, leaning against the counter, while she is hustling to get you caffeinated.<br /><br />I know I am not the only one who considers Bernie and her coffee shop a gem and a mustering point for our community.<br /><br />Times are tough for our favorite neighborhood coffee shop!  Many of the regulars have skipped town.   We can no longer hunker down inside to get work done, take meetings, visit with friends.  <br /><br />As a small token of our gratitude for all of the free Bernie therapy sessions andbabysitting (yes, I have left my child sitting in the children's nook to run errands) over the years and for creating a space where we all feel loved and cared for,  let’s come together as a community to help them during these difficult times. <br /><br />My name is Jennifer. I am a longtime frequenter of Bernie's Coffee Shop. All of the money raised will support the business from financial struggles due to the COVID-19 virus. <p><strong>A family very dear to me just  lost their home and food truck in the tragic Almeda Fire that  swept through Southern Oregon on September 8th. Lichen and Phoenix have three beautiful children: Malaya 7, Llewella 9, and Asa 11.<br /><br />Please help them get back on their feet, as the lost food truck was their only source of income and their home was a rental. Their insurance agent also did not add the rental insurance policy they had requested a week before the fire. Your money will ONLY fund basic needs for their family. (Including food, water, clothes, and shelter.)<br /><br />Lichen and Phoenix are among the hardest working people I know, starting their own local ramen business from scratch in 2018. They serve farmers markets in Ashland and Medford, lunch/dinner service in Talent, among many private events and festivals in the Rogue Valley. They have put everything into this self made business since day one, sometimes working 13 hours shifts and then cooking into the late night.</strong>

Oregon wildfire takes family home and business

Lynn passed away on June 15, 2020 after a long battle with dementia and MS. She spent the last year in and out of the hospital and at two nursing homes. She was strong until the very end. The Covid-19 pandemic made it extremely difficult to keep in touch with her directly, but the nursing home remained positive and she was not diagnosed with the virus. The funeral expenses, today, are astronomical in cost and this fundraiser is set up to help offset some of the burial and memorial costs.
