Seamus is a fun loving, energetic, happy little 3 year old boy. He is my daughter Aria’s best friend and he loves Paw Patrol. Seamus has recently been admitted to the cancer ward at UCSF Children’s Hospital. He originally went to the hospital because of a small limp he had. It was found out he was extremely anemic and he had to have a blood transfusion. After multiple tests including a bone marrow biopsy it was found out that he has an aggressive form of neuroblastoma cancer and has a tumor in his kidney.

 His mama and dada, Tami and Shawn, have been with him nonstop without working. They and Seamus need your help. This diagnosis came out of nowhere and has put so much stress on them both emotionally and financially. Please help in any way you can so that the financial burden will at least be one less stressor they will need to deal with.

<div>Darragh Cottrell passed away peacefully on August 13, 2025, two weeks shy of his eighth birthday. He was enveloped with the love of his parents Sylvia and Dan until the very end.

<div>Sonoma county is now home to a small angel (one who has to remain nameless for legal reasons). This little boy has been through so much in his short life.. and sadly those experiences were not always good. He has now joined a wonderful family in Santa Rosa and his foster mother fights every day to ensure nothing but the best quality of life for her soon to be adopted son. She faces discrimination, intense medical emergencies, and endless hours of navigating our complex insurance and healthcare systems. This is her life.

<div>As her son grows.. it becomes more and more challenging for her and her husband to get their child up the steps to his room. Her son is paralyzed, has constant seizures, and cannot eat on his own. He requires much care and equipment.. so a room for him on the first level of the house is imperative.

<div>His mother had made plans for an additional room to be built on the first floor of the home. But getting it covered by insurance and government aid is a long, complicated road and not guaranteed. She has already taken out loans for the specialized van her son needs as he continues to grow and won’t be able to access more loans for some time.

There is still bruising in the brain that is concerning the doctors, so there is a lot of unknowns they are facing right now. She faces a long road of therapy. Arianna has finally been able to take Joellie home for now due to her rare syndrome she becomes very overwhelmed and they were having a hard getting her calmed. Arianna is needing to stay by her side at all times in order to help her with her recovery and is now in the process of having to take legal action in order to ensure justice is served for her innocent and sweet little girl. Through the midst of all of this as well, Arianna just had a sweet little baby only a few weeks ago as well. This mom is a fighter. She will not give up! Please help us give this family some peace! <br /><br />Please give what you are led to. Most of all....please pray for complete healing for this sweet and innocent child and for justice to be served.

<p>**WOW the response has been beyond amazing! We met our original goal in mere hours, and I know many more people want to donate in Harper’s name so the goal has been raised to see how much love we can spread for our sweet friend**

<p>Harper’s light shined bright and reached so many people; her loss is felt deeply, both near and far. Her beautiful smile and giggles brought joy to anyone who knew her. Most days, Harper could be found on family bike rides or visits to the local parks, where her family and friends would visit and play with her. Being outside and amongst loved ones was her favorite place to be. <br /><br />Many have asked where and how they can contribute towards Harper’s legacy and remembrance. Our vision is to create a place where her friends and family can continue to visit and play, sharing memories and giving space for her friends to say hi. Our plan is to have a bench built along her favorite trail to the park. Harper’s Bench. <br /><br />Details with the city are still in the works, but we would like to start raising funds for this project so we can move forward in the process. Any additional funds will be sent to the Parker Lee Project, which is near and dear to the Hornbergers’ heart- their mission is to provide medical supplies and equipment to families in need. <br /><br />Thank you for donating to Harper’s Bench fund, as we honor our beautiful girl.
