<div>Where do you begin with a family member that means so much? My cousin Matt Dial is in need of your prayers and support.
</div>
<div>In February of 2023 he began losing a significant amount of weight in a period of a short time. He reached out to a GI physician he knows through IU Health. That same day he had labs and a CT scan that gave unfortunate news of a cecal mass that spread to the abdominal lymph nodes and his liver. He was immediately told surgery was not an option. He's been through so much, nerve damage, urinary issues, MRSA, septic shock, surgeries, radiation, chemo (with indescribable side effects). He's fought a hell of a fight over the past two years, and his family has used their time wisely to fulfill some of his wishes and spend quality time together.

<div>The cancer has spread to his lung and spine, and he now has what is called cancer cachexia, which is a kind of wasting away that happens when the cancer takes over your metabolism.
</div>
<div>He's only 48, Hospice is involved, and the oncologist feels there is a very short time left.
</div>
<div>He has two wonderful boys and a wife he adores. My wish is that his family has as much time with him as possible without the worry and stress of bills that come with this awful illness.
</div>
<div>My heart breaks for all of you! Matt, I remember wonderful times as kids whether it was your family coming to visit with us, or us heading out with our grandparents to visit all of you. I will continue to pray for your comfort and the healing of hearts that are affected at the thought of losing you and all you've been through.

<div>“Our Jack at 2 1/2 years old has been diagnosed with Sanfilippo Syndrome Type A. There is no cure and no treatments available. He will lose his ability walk, talk, eat and eventually will take his life. The life expectancy is short.

<div>Dave and I can’t accept this. We have been grieving for a child that is standing right in front of us happy and fully functioning but everyday this syndrome is attacking his brain. We are supposed to sit back and watch this happen to our baby.
</div>
<div>As a mother I am supposed to protect him. And being told there’s nothing we can do has me shattered. I’ve always loved the thought of Benny &amp; Jack growing up together and always having each other. That’s no longer an option. The genetic counselor talking about palliative care for my 2 year old has my head spinning. I just can’t. This can’t be how Jacks story ends. This is the most excruciating pain I’ve ever known and I need hope that somehow, some way there will be a cure for our sweet Jack. One in time before everything is taken from him. Time is against us. There are no fda approved treatments or therapies for Sanfilippo. How do I change this? How can I save him? We are so desperate to find a cure. We need a miracle. He’s our world and having no options is killing us.

<div>Hi, my name is Jenny. On December 22, 2022, my nephew Kyle was having some yellowing in the whites of his eyes and his skin appeared abnormally discolored. His mother (my sister Stacey) was directed by his physician to head to urgent care where Kyle's health quickly began to decline. He was immediately sent to ER at Saint Joseph Mercy in Ann Arbor where he remains in critical condition in the ICU fighting an autoimmune disorder called warm hemolytic anemia. In a nutshell, his body is attacking his red blood cells faster than he can make them and it's causing numerous amounts of other issues. His healthcare team is trying to find the root cause. He has had a bone marrow aspiration and a lymph node removed for analysis as they try and rule out leukemia/lymphoma. He's had numerous blood transfusions, his spleen ruptured, he developed pneumonia, and he's been poked, prodded and examined. He has been through more in his short life than I have in my 40 years. His Father and Mother have sat by his bedside nonstop and NEVER ask for help other than prayer. They are always the first to help out others and I want to do the same for them. I want them not to worry about anything other than being with their son so, I'm asking if you can help in any way to take off any financial burden they may face in the coming months it would mean so much to me for a family that deserves it more than anyone I know. I love you Ben, Stacey and Kyle. God has him and we will all continue to pray!
