<div>In June, I fly out to Tanzania for 9 days to climb Killimanjaro - the highest free-standing mountain above sea level in the world, at 5,895m.

<div>Since my Brother Ricky’s passing, I made a promise to push myself to help raise vital funds and spread awareness for Men’s Mental health charities, especially those closest to him.

<div>Ricky was 35, a Father of two, Son, Brother, Partner, Nephew and an Uncle. Although nothing in this world can bring him back, continuing as he did, to helping other Men in their times of need, possibly preventing further suicides will mean his death wasn't in vain- just for reference 74% of all suicides are male.

<div>More information about ANDYSMANCLUB Limited: ANDYSMANCLUB are a male suicide prevention charity. We were established in 2016 after the tragic loss of Andrew Roberts to suicide aged 23. We facilitate non professional peer to peer support groups across the UK for any man to attend over 18. We provide a confidential non judgemental space for men to come together to chat about anything that they would like to get off of their chest. We have no waiting list, no referral or signing in process.

<div>Sons of the Oak is my way of giving men a space to reconnect — with themselves, with each other, and with the kind of purpose you can’t fake. I believe building something by hand can rebuild something within. I believe a voyage across the sea can mark a real turning point in a man’s life.
