Sensei Destiny will now prepare to Join USA Karate Junior Pan Am Games Qualification Team in Training and Competition in São Paulo Brazil August 2024!! EJs Warriors Road to Gold 2024 is Not Over Yet!

<div>Destiny Jennings fought hard to become a Member of USA Karate, and #1 Seed in the United States in 2022. Now in to achieve World rankings, Destiny must compete representing the United States around the World in K1 Youth League. There are several tournaments internationally in 2023, and after placing 5h in Fujairah February 2023, next up for Destiny is A CORUÑA in April 2023. Costs include Flights, lodging, transportation from A Coruna (Spain), and miscellaneous expenses. Destiny must also have a Chaperone/ Coach. The GofundMe expenses are to offset what expenses and costs have not been paid for already. <div>Destiny WON 9-2 IN FINALS on July 3, 2022, and started this GoFundMe afterward. This GoFundMe has funded her and her Chaperone as she competed in Pan Am Karate Championship in Mexico City, Mexico, from August 22-28, 2022. Furthermore and is now preparing to represent the USA at the WORLD Karate Championships in Kohan, Turkey, with Team USA Karate this October 24-31, 2022!!

<div>Flights for Warrior Destiny and her Chaperone are required for both Championships, including registration fees which include hotel and other expenses. We anticipate the Worlds to be higher cost since flights are $1500 each July 2022. We secured Destiny's registration for Pan Ams deposit by the July 15th due date ($1260); we then received word and were able to pay Destinys registration fee for the World Karate Championship before the due date of July 29th, 2022 (additional $1600)! <br />IT'S OFFICIAL-Last July 14th, after several Championships like the 2019 US OPEN(Gold) across the US including several Training Camps (Coach Tommy Hood, USA Karate Senior Team Member Cheryl Murphy, &amp; Elite Training Camp)Warrior EJ has made it on USA Karate Junior National Team and is headed to the Junior PKF Championships held in Guayaquil, Ecuador this August 26-Sept 2nd, 2019.  The Junior National team consists of the best athletes, ages 12-20, who will represent the United States in this prestigious international event.<br />After a long and hard Competition season with "Warriors Karate Academy Go For Gold 2019" to earn a chance to be on Team, funds are depleted and we must again fund-raise with GoFundMe to get him a chance to win International GOLD! <br /><br />Please Donate, Share, and network with our organization, as a Chaperone must also attend with the Competitor which drives cost higher than usual. WARRIORS KARATE ACADEMY GO FOR GOLD 2019

In 2014 8 students of EJ's Warrior Karate Academy, located in Columbus, OH competed in USA Karate National Qualifier located West Chester, Ohio earning several medals in their divisions. This also qualified the Warriors for the USA Karate National Chmapionship &amp; US Team Trials in Reno, Nevada July 2014. The costs for fees, equipment, transportation, lodging, meals and expenses were high and the Warriors didnt raise enough funds to successfully travel, and compete in 2014 USA Karate Nationals. <br />Since then however, the Warriors have continued fighting hard to find their way back, and in 2016 through a partnership with Oriental Martial Arts College(OMAC) and Coach Andy Choi, 3 warriors competed in USA Tae Kwon DO Nationals in Richmond, VA earning 2 bronze and one gold medal. <br />In 2017, Warriors returned to USA Karate with 12 students earning 4 Bronze, 2 Silver and 1 Gold medal in USA Karate Nationals &amp; US Team Trials held in Greenville, SC at Bon Secours Arena. Just 2 weeks prior 3 of these Warriors had just competed World Class Olympic divisions in Detroit USA Tae Kwon Do Nationals, but fell short of placing. <br />Now, in 2018, USA Karate National Championship &amp; US Team Trials returns to Reno, Nevada with 6 of the original 8 Warriors wanting their redemption and chance to Go For the Gold. The Warriors USA Karate Team is 8-10 students who will qualify in Hampton, Virginia April 21, 2018. The 3 USA Tae Kwon Do Warriors on Team OMAC will also qualifiy for that event May 5, 2018 in Columbus, Ohio.
