<div><em>My 90-year-old grandfather is currently dying of lung cancer in Memphis, Tennessee. He’s been hospitalized and has less than a month to live. I haven’t seen him since I was a child, but we’ve stayed in touch over the phone for years. He’s one of the last living links I have to my family—and this may be my only chance to say goodbye in person. We all know how viscous cancer is and quickly things can move so time is of the essence. This trip will also provide me with the opportunity to meet my father for the 1st time since he is present in Memphis with my grandfather. </em>
