Brooklyn Ann is one of the most loving and creative people I know. As a horror romance author, she’s brought hope and representation to outcasts through her stories, always believing in happy endings for the broken and strange. She lives in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, with her gamer son Micah, her partner Kent, four beloved cats, and a home filled with books, music, and memories.

Just a week before Christmas, tragedy struck. A tree fell on Brooklyn’s house, taking the life of her partner Kent and leaving Brooklyn, Micah, and their four cats suddenly homeless. The house is severely damaged, and Brooklyn, who once found joy in writing stories of resilience, now faces the unimaginable task of rebuilding her life from the ground up.

Brooklyn has always given so much to her readers and friends. Now, she and her family need our help. The funds raised will go toward finding them a safe place to stay, caring for their pets, and helping them start over after this devastating loss. Please consider supporting Brooklyn and her family during this heartbreaking time. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help them take the first steps toward healing and rebuilding.

Help Brooklyn Rebuild After Tragic Loss

Dearest Friends and Community Members,

As many of you may have heard, Chris Henden passed suddenly yesterday morning. This devastating news is shocking to all of us who knew and loved Chris.

Chris has been a huge part of our lives as a coach, neighbor, friend and more. His contributions to our community were great and the loss of his presence will be enormous.

In as many ways as Chris has touched our lives, it is our turn to give what we can to his amazing family. Please help support Crystal, Alana and Ethan in their time of need.

Help for the Henden Family

Hello everyone, my name is Christa Wilbanks.
Tonight (05-17-16) my sister and her family were called home because their house had caught fire. They lost everything in the fire including their beloved cat Tyga. This house was our childhood home as well as our late mother's house. Unfortunately due to the age and structure of the house, they did not currently have any type of home owners insurance. If you would like to help any and all donations will be given toThe Baca Family to help them start over. Thank you all in advance for your kindness and help.

Baca House Fire

On October 16 my brother's family lost their home and their beloved dog, Phoebe, in a house fire.( http://pittsburgh.cbslocal.com/2015/10/16/monroeville-home-damaged-by-fire/ )

I'm starting this GoFundMe campaign to help them recoup some of their losses. Their home was heavily damaged resulting in huge losses of furniture, clothing and other household items. Their children (10, 8 and 2) also lost clothing, furniture and personal items. At the time of this tragedy Deen and Kelley were searching for a new house for their growing family, and expecting a new baby girl to arrive on the scene in April of 2016.
Any donations would be greatly appreciated to help them get back on their feet again. Thank you.
