<div>Most of our expenditure is revenue based to keep the club operating (venue hire; grounds equipment and maintenance; kits and apparel; football goals and training equipment; volunteer training; presentation/trophies; league fees; insurances; food and drink stock etc.).

<div>We pride ourselves on ensuring we provide access to all, and for our members, volunteers, supporters and the community, high quality facilities, equipment, training and overall enduring memories and community impact.

<div>Costs continue to go up with high inflation and although we have a sound financial footing, this diminishes our ability to invest in key projects, equipment and training to meet our high quality standards that our members and the community deserves. Added to this is the change in weather patterns, which is making it more challenging to maintain access our pitches and access to our pitches.

<div>We are seeking a collective effort to raise funds to contribute to a pathway from the club house to the 7 and 9-a-side pitches. We know as soon as it gets wet access it becomes boggy, unsafe and for those with prams and wheelchairs, impossible to get to the pitches.

<div>Get involved, engaged and excited for our sponsored walk/run from Vulcan Sports Club to the Olympiastadion in Germany and back. Every member of the club from the academy through to the open age will contribute to the 2832kms distance by clocking up as many miles as possible in 60 mins. Not only will it be a good for fitness, and team bonding, you will be raising money towards a much needed pathway, and from the money raised we will be donating a proportion of this to a select number of charities.

The Euro 24 Challenge

<strong>THE CHESHIRE LEAGUE CHALLENGE<br /><br /></strong>Vulcan FC Players &amp;  Supporters will be taking on a virtual running challenge on V.E Day  (8/5/20) to run the distance from VSC to the 13 Cheshire League One grounds  (425.52kms).<br /><br />Each participant has 60 minutes to run as many km's as possible and must submit a screenshot from their running app to Vulcan FC who will be keeping a team total.<br /><br />We are hoping to raise £7500to split equally between:<br /><br /><strong>NHS Together Charity:<br /></strong>During this difficult time, our NHS workers are going above and beyond to keep us all safe and we want to show our appreciation and support. <br /><br /><strong>Help  For Heroes Charity:</strong><br />The  challenge will take place on VE Day 75th Anniversary and we want to raise funds for the amazing work that Help For Heroes does for our  veterans and their families.<br /><br /><strong>Vulcan Football Club Charity:<br /></strong>As a grass roots, local community club we  rely on matches  / matchday sales to raised funds to support the running of the community facility. With the season ending in March due to COVID19, we need to raise funds for the upkeep of our local grassroots facility.

The Cheshire Challenge

This page is for the sudden tragic loss of Wayne Robinson. Today we lost a legend in Wayne, doing what he does best in helping others, he was doing charity work in Ghana rebuilding an orphanage in an underprivileged area who have next to nothing supplying them with football kits &amp; supporting their community. While Wayne was in Ghana helping others, he was enjoying a swim in the local lake, got into a bit of trouble &amp; unfortunately lost his life. Wayne was a genuine, down to earth man who really enjoyed helping people. He was loved and highly respected by many. He was a driving instructor who took real passion of teaching people and was also involved in coaching kids football for many years. We are unsure of the costs that may lie ahead with bringing him home. Due to the overwhelming response weve also recieved in regards to this the funds will still be going towards his family who are trying to cope through the ordeal and will be used for the flights so they can see wayne and also bring him home so he can rest safely. But we are also now going to carry on the cause for Wayne by working alongside the charity Wayne was working for in Ghana as well. Anything left over from expenses will be put towards the charity to aid them there. Any donation small or large and spreading awareness would be appreciated greatly!<br /><br />You will be missed by many, one of a kind. Bootle legend. Rest easy Wayne.
