It is with great sadness that I am creating this fundraiser for Legs.   I know that many of us have been waiting for Legs to be cremated, so that  memorial service can take place, Legs can be laid to rest, and we can all move forward through our grief. Shane, her family and her closest friends desperately want to get her back and have her with them. Now, we are asking for help to make that happen.    When Leg's family was first informed of her passing, their immediate and gracious response was that they would gladly take care of everything.  Unfortunately, the fees assessed by the county for her cremation, toxicology report, and autopsy have totaled nearly triple what anyone expected, $1700.   Sadly it is just more than they can afford, but until this bill is paid, Legs will be held in limbo and not be released to Shane, who also cannot afford to cover those fees.     Any donated amount over the amount of the bill will be donated in Leg's name to the Milo Foundation near Willits, CA. They are an animal rescue organization that Shane visited in July, run by really fantastic people who care for abused and neglected animals and love them just as we all know Legs loves animals. Leg's Cremation Fund

My sweet cousin, Lisa, lost her 17 year old son unexpectedly due to heart complications that may or may not have been a result of a life long struggle with diabetes, or perhaps an undiagnosed heart issue that was missed. We still don’t have answers. All we know is that he was not feeling well and was vomiting from suspected food poisoning in the morning. He was admitted to emergency room around 9:00pm, and after a short, seemingly routine visit to ER for fluids and insulin, he suddenly”seized”and went into cardiac arrest at 9:58pm. After the Drs attempted to resuscitate him for over an hour unfortunately at 11:07pm, one of the sweetest little boys on the earth was gone. Leaving his mother and our entire family in absolute despair. Yesterday we all sat on pins and needles hoping for preliminary results from an autopsy to give us some answers. All that was confirmed is that his heart had undiagnosed issues. We hope to learn more soon.


James was one of the sweetest, most caring Individuals you could ever have the pleasure of meeting. He loved his new school Western High in Las Vegas NV, where he was a Junior. His favorite classes were physics, ceramics and history. He loved being around his friends and playing video games. Lisa life is forever changed and she is trying to figure out how she will ever be able to move forward without him here with her. 


James was Lisa’s only child. 


As we move forward, I am asking that you share this message. We took him to the ER and they told us he had Pneumonia. He was sent home with some antibiotics. Three days later, he was still not getting better. We took him back to the ER. Since then we have been transported to Nationwide Childrens Hospital. Brody has been diagonsed with several heart defects, including three holes that did not close on their own as they should, and a defect with his Mitral Valve. Long story short, he is getting too much blood to his lungs and he cant breathe. He was also diaganosed with RSV, a respitory illness. On top of the heart issues, the virus is taking its toll on our sweet baby boy. Right now he is in the Cardiac ICU. He is on a High Flow Nasual Cannual for his breathing and he has breathing treatments around the clock. He will need surgery to correct the issues with his heart. I cant leave my babys side, so I have been here with him sice Friday afternoon. This has left poor Fenton and Leighton at home to fend for themselves. We are in desperate need of financial help for medical bills and day to day living. The situation is not good, but Brody is strong. Even small donations could mean a world of difference to my family. The Baby Brody Resource Fund

My name is Christian Cody, and I am now entering my third year of college. I entered college with the goal of learning how to better understand and help heal people after spending a year and a half training at the Vietnamese, Zen, Buddhist monastery in Escondido, CA, Deer Park. While there, I learned to take the unfortunate experiences of my life and use them to relate to people currently stuck on the midst of suffering, from there, communication came natural once they realized I was talking to them on their level. While in school I have found a passion in photography, and my passion for writing has continued to be watered by the wonderful professors at Pasadena City College. Now I have the opportunity to leave my home country for only the second time in my life and travel to Oxford and study English there for the entire spring semester of 2018. Being the spring semester, I would also spend spring break there, allowing further opportunity for travel. I hope to do this to expand my perspective and develop more culture, hoping to see the world outside the United States to help develop a better understanding of it. I will be writing, passionately while there, and would like to land the blogging scholarship as well. This GoFundMe will help me in saving up the money for the trip that financial aid will not cover, things that would be included in this cost would be travel expenses (flight, food, lodging) further travel expenses once over seas, as well as anything extra above my goal will go towards making sure I have adequate documenting equipment to show and share my experience with you all. Their son, Ronnie was diagnosed with DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma) which is a rare inoperable brain stem tumor that is cancerous at the age of 4. With treatment Ronnie's tumor went dormant but 5 months ago the tumor became aggressively active and has now left this once vibrant little boy unable to move, play, speak or do any of the things an 11 year old child should be doing! His parents, Ron and Jen have taken a leave of absence from their jobs to be by Ronnie's side and to take care of him as he so badly wants and needs (just as any other child would want when they are sick or not feeling well). Without Ron and Jen working, bringing in no income, they are in need of HELP to pay for all those everyday bills: rent, water, electric, food and of course all the items that Ronnie needs medically. Together as a community let's help the Dekeyser/Hittson family by reaching and even surpassing the goal of $10,000 in less than two (2) weeks.
