<div>Hi, my name is Majella and I am a friend of the Butler family. As some of you may know, Shane Butler, Keith and Sinead's beautiful son, has been diagnosed with a brain tumour. He was lucky enough to have it diagnosed and removed in a very short time span, but his radiotherapy and chemotherapy journey is only just begun.

<div>Shane and his fiancee, Niamh, are currently living in Abu Dhabi, and have to remain there until at least the first set of treatment is complete. This is a very worrying and stressful time for Shane, his mam and dad, his brother, his fiancee, and of course the extended Butler Clan. He needs his family around him at this critical time and it's very expensive for anyone to have to fly to and stay in Abu Dhabi to be there for Shane.

<div>All of us in Nenagh who know Keith and Sinead know that both of them would give you their own last penny and would bend over backwards to help anyone in need. So I hope that we can all do the same for them, even if they are giving out about us doing it! It wouldn't be them if they didn't :)

MELLON EDUCATE FUNDRAISER

<p>Social Distance Digital Relay<br /><br />Saturday 18th of April<br /><br />With the Darkness into Light walk being postponed this year, we decided to do our bit to try and raise some much-needed funds for <a href="https://www.pieta.ie/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Pieta House.</a> Looking after your mental health is a cause that is very close to so many people’s hearts – especially in times like this.<br /><br />As a result, on Saturday 18th April from 7am through to 8pm we are organising a “Social Distance Digital Relay” which will see a new participant take the baton every hour/30mins (whatever timings work for you) and walk/run/cycle - covering as much distance as possible in their time. The baton will then be passed to the next team member as the day progresses right up until 8pm. We would love to see as many people/teams as possible get involved! Teams are not required to run the full 13 hour day, but are encouraged to sign up and take part. <br /><br />However, given the social distance guidelines we will all pass on the baton online via social media. Each will participant kick things off via their chosen platform(s) and give regular updates on where they are and what distance they’ve covered.
