Many families have lost their homes, and entire communities are struggling to survive without electricity, food, clean water, internet, or phone connections. The situation is dire, with people left out in the open, vulnerable, and with no place to go.

<div>I am Dr. Ranny Maung, a medical doctor currently based in Houston, Texas, USA, and I am working closely with my cousin, Dr. Thura Tun, who is on the ground in Yangon. Together, we are coordinating urgent relief efforts to provide lifesaving support to those suffering in the aftermath of this disaster.

<div>No electricity – Families are in complete darkness, making rescue and recovery efforts even more difficult.

<div>No food or clean water – Many people are starving as food supplies are running out, and access to clean water is nearly impossible.

<div>No communication – Internet and phone lines are down, cutting off survivors from the outside world and making it difficult for families to find their loved ones.

<div>No shelter – Many have lost their homes and are now sleeping on the streets or in makeshift tents, exposed to harsh conditions.
