<div><strong>Monica had a stroke during our niece's birth and lives with a lot of chronic and never-ending health issues since then.</strong> She's had many ER visits, has had so many surgeries, been hospitalized many times, and so much more. She recently found out that she's in need of even more surgeries and procedures. She needs both surgery and biopsies on both of her breasts because she found lumps. Plus, she needs surgery on her digestive tract so she can eat. On top of all of that, her husband Ken has been searching for a new job in a nightmare job market for over 18 months! Since he hasn't had a job, they have no income and no insurance and were forced to make a choice that NONE of us should have to make and use their retirement and savings to pay Monica's medical bills and also try to keep up with their regular home bills. But now there's nothing left; they can't pay for anything, Monica's health will suffer, and they're going to end up homeless. It's truly heartbreaking.
