<div>In Khan Younis, every day brought fresh fear and loss. A month and a half later, came the news that shattered me: our home was destroyed completely. Both our cars—our only source of livelihood—were gone. One burned, the other crushed.

<div>It felt as if all our dreams were buried under the rubble. My husband, who had devoted his life to work and securing a future for our children, was left with nothing—no job, no hope.

<div>We moved on to Rafah, but suffering followed us. My children became sick: liver issues, skin diseases, and hearts filled with fear. They wake up terrified at the sound of anything loud. Even food and medicine became out of reach, luxuries at impossible prices.

<div>Then winter came. In the tent, the cold gnawed at our bones. Summer brought choking heat. Rain seeped into the little we had left. We were displaced again and again—north to south, Khan Younis to Rafah, then to Deir al-Balah. Always running, always searching for safety, always finding danger.

<div>Today, we live a harsh, primitive life. Days are spent standing in water lines, waiting for food handouts, collecting firewood. My children have forgotten what school feels like, what play means. They have forgotten their dreams.

Help Islam's Family Survive in Gaza

<div>On the 15th of June, thousands of people from across the globe will March to Gaza from Cairo to challenge apartheid Israel's genocidal blockade.

<div>A delegation of activists from the Belfast Branch of the IPSC will travel on this March to represent Belfast's opposition to genocide.
</div>

<div>As part of this we wish to use this opportunity to raise money for those suffering Israel's genocide.

<div>We will be providing daily updates as we prepare for the march and while in Egypt marching to Gaza.

<div>SEN Space is a non-profit organisation in Dunmurry, Northern Ireland, which provides care, support and respite services for children with additional needs and their families in NI.

<div>We currently operate After Schools Clubs, Weekend Club, Pre-School, Early Intervention, Parent and Tot, Parent Support, Sibling Club and Family Sessions. We hope to expand to Youth Club and Overnight Respite in the near future!

<div>In order to provide the best possible experience for our children and families, we are fundraising to purchase a minibus. This will allow us to assist with transport to and from our services, as well as bringing our children and families on day trips.

SEN Space Minibus Fundraiser

<div>To highlight the humanitarian catastrophe that is now being visited upon innocent Palestinian civilians in Gaza, we at the Nenagh Friends of Palestine, with Cloughjordan Palestine Justice and the North Tipperary branch of the Irish Palestine Solidarity Campaign are undertaking the “Hunger for Justice: Gaza” campaign.

<div>Working with Kerry IPSC, Killorglin For Palestine and our Belfast and Mayo colleagues, this rolling 24-hour fast (which started on April 15th 2024) continues, where our volunteers refrain from eating any food or drink on that day (bar water).
</div>
<div>Each day, a new volunteer takes up the fast. The aim of the campaign is to raise awareness of the starvation suffered by Gazan due to the Israeli blockade of food and water.
