<div>Last September, I shared the story of Hana’a—a young mother living in Gaza, fleeing bombs and caring for her three small children: Muayad, Tulin, and baby Adham. At the time, they were living in a tent, constantly displaced by airstrikes and struggling for food and safety.

<div>Many of you responded with love and support—and I sincerely thank everyone who donated. Your help truly made a difference. That campaign is now closed, and I’m starting a new one because Hana’a’s situation has sadly worsened.
</div>

<div>Today, against all odds—amid displacement, hunger, and fear—the children continue to grow, thank God. Muayad, now six, is trying to learn to read and write like a real pupil. His mother teaches little Tulin how to count. And baby Adham, born just days after October 7th, 2023, is a sweet and cheerful soul—so full of innocence.

<div>The family now lives in a schoolyard near Nasser Hospital, sharing a single tent with several displaced women and children whom Hana’a took in after finding them on the street. Seventeen people—women and children—now sleep together in a 3x3 meter tent. The men sleep outside, under the open sky—which is far from a positive experience, as some might imagine.

<div>Even with so little, Hana’a continues to share what she has. But food is now scarcer than ever. While international news speaks of aid entering Gaza, families like Hana’a’s see almost none of it. She can’t reach the food lines, and her children often go to bed hungry. I don’t know how she manages to explain to the little ones that there is simply no food... Even water is limited—they can only fill containers once every three days.

<div>Their new location, the schoolyard, has brought even more problems than before, when they were in Bani Suheila. The school has been bombed and is overcrowded with displaced people. There are no functioning toilets. People—already exhausted and malnourished—have to walk a long distance just to reach a working toilet. This is a huge hardship for everyone there.

<div>This new fundraiser is for the most basic needs: food, milk for Adham, medicine for Hana’a’s parents, and essential daily supplies—if they can be found.

<div>Семейството сега живее в училищен двор близо до болница „Насър“, като дели една-единствена палатка с още разселени жени и деца, които Хана’а е приютила, след като ги е намерила на улицата. Седемнадесет души — жени и деца — спят заедно в палатка с размери 3х3 метра. Мъжете спят навън, под открито небе — което далеч не е положително преживяване, както някои биха си представили.

<div>Въпреки че има толкова малко, Хана’а продължава да споделя това, което има. Но храната сега е по-оскъдна от всякога. Докато международните новини говорят за навлизане на хуманитарна помощ в Газа, семейства като това на Хана’а почти не виждат нищо от нея. Тя не може да стигне до пунктовете за раздаване на храна и децата ѝ често си лягат гладни. Не знам как успява да обясни на малките, че просто няма храна… Дори водата е ограничена — могат да пълнят тубите си само веднъж на три дни.

<div>Новото им местоположение — училищният двор — е донесло още повече проблеми в сравнение с времето, когато са били в Бани Сухейла. Училището е бомбардирано и пренаселено с разселени хора. Няма функциониращи тоалетни. Хората — вече изтощени и недохранени — трябва да вървят дълго разстояние, за да стигнат до работеща тоалетна. Това е огромно изпитание за всички там.

<div>Hello, our fellow humans.
</div>

</div>
<div>We are a small family from Gaza Strip, Me Wesam, my wife, Reham, and our beautiful 16 years old son, Feras. Before the outbreak of this ongoing monstrous war on our strip, we were a family living peacefully in their home in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood in Gaza city.

<div>Tel al-Hawa, this nice serene neighborhood– which has been my home my whole life and later on continued to be our beloved home as a family– got carpet bombed in the early days of this nightmare. We have lost everything, our home, our neighbourhood, and every place we have ever walked into. Our son, Feras, lost his cherished guitar, drawings, and the coin collection he collected over the years. A lifetime of memories is now devastatingly shattered into rubble and dust.

<div>We miraculously fled from one place to another since then. We had to walk on foot for hours to reach our current shelter in the southern region of Gaza Strip. My wife, Reham, is the most affected by all of this as she suffers from rheumatoid arthritis and severe degenerative hip joints. The exhausting months of flee and displacement and the lack of treatment aggravated her condition. She’s experiencing excruciating pain and gradually losing her mobility. The doctors advised us that she needs urgent joint replacement surgeries, which, unfortunately, even prior to the war, it wasn’t performable in Gaza due to the lack of the required equipment. I’ve tried many efforts to grant a permit for us to evacuate to Egypt, but we aren’t permitted to evacuate through the Rafah crossing (the only crossing out of Gaza) unless we have what called “coordination” with the Egyptian part which costs between $5000 - $7000 per individual.

<div>It’s a hard decision for me to seek help through starting this campaign as it’s my responsibility as a husband and a father to take care of my family, but I’m completely helpless, I’ve lost everything, my car, my little savings, and nothing left to even sell in exchange for money. We are all tired, devastated, and can’t bear staying in this hell any longer. Your help is our last resort. I need to get my family to safety; to secure the treatment my wife desperately needs; to get my child out to live the life he deserves where he can go to school, play his guitar and live safely as any other child in the world.

<div>Your generous support will be aimed to fund the cost of Reham’s surgeries estimated to be $25000 in addition to the cost of our evacuation through the Rafah crossing and our accommodation expenses until I get back on my feet.
