I am creating this fundraiser for my beloved little brother, <strong>Matthew Valle</strong>. Our family is heartbroken after tragically losing Matthew to homicide, and we are now facing the unexpected burden of funeral expenses while trying to process this unimaginable loss. No family is ever prepared for something like this, and this has left us grieving while also trying to make sure Matthew is laid to rest with the love and dignity he deserves. Matthew meant so much to our family, and this loss has deeply shaken all of us.

<div>We are writing to you all to share the terrible news that Julio Porras lost his life on February 6, 2022. He died of damages to his body and organs due to COVID-19. He traveled to Guatemala on January 6th, for a family matter without knowing he wouldn’t return back home. He tested positive as soon as he got over there and unfortunately couldn't come home until he got cleared. Although things seemed to be going well, his body started shutting down and couldn't continue the fight.

<div>He leaves behind a very young family. A family he was so proud of and completely dedicated to. His wife Estrella Perez, also known as Star, his oldest and only son Julio Jr. Porras,18, Jasmine also known as little Jas,13, and his two other princesses Jocelyn,7, and Jacquelyn of 9 months.

<div>Julio will always be remembered for being such a hard working father who was dedicated to his family and a great friend. Most of his best moments with his family were made out on the soccer field as his passion for soccer was recognizable. He was also a coach at Mesa Linda park where he dedicated so many years to coach young goalkeepers.

<div>Thank you Julio for all the great times. The knowledge you shared with our kids and for always being a great friend. Mesa Linda Park will never be the same without you there. El viajó a Guatemala el día 6 de Enero sin saber que no regresaría a casa. En cuanto él llegó a Guatemala se realizó un examen de covid donde resultó positivo y no podía regresar hasta que saliera negativo del virus. Desafortunadamente su cuerpo no pudo resistir el daño que la infección del virus dejó en su cuerpo.

<div>Julio será recordado por ser un buen amigo y un papá muy dedicado a su familia. Ellos hicieron la mayoría de sus mejores recuerdos con sus hijos en el campo. Su pasión por el fútbol era reconocible por muchos. El también era un entrenador en el parque de Mesa Linda donde dedicó muchos años entrenando a niños a ser mejores porteros.
