<div>We are Katrina and Gio, <strong>Patti's parents!</strong> This fundraiser is to help our beloved cat Patti recover after she suffered a tragic fall. She broke all four metatarsal bones in her rear right paw and will need to be placed in a splint for a minimum of 8 weeks, alongside a regimen of strict rest and pain medication.
</div>
<div><br />

<div><br />
</div>
<div>From the vet visits we have already taken and the upcoming weekly follow-ups for splint adjustments and x-rays, we anticipate this will cost about $5000 in total. <strong>Any amount you can donate will help us cover the costs so that we can make </strong>
</div>
<div><strong>sure Patti is feeling like her old self again as soon as possible!</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This year has been especially financially difficult as we just purchased our first home, just got married, and are preparing for Gio to enter his first year of law school. We hate to have to weigh these financial responsibilities with the costs of treating Patti's injuries, but sadly these are the cards we have been dealt. <strong>Donating not only helps Patti directly but will also ease these financial burdens for us as we enter a challenging time in our lives.</strong> Thank you so much!

</div>
<div>On the morning of December 13th, our beloved <strong>Lilia Vazquez</strong> was tragically struck by a vehicle while out running, and her life was cut far too short.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Lilia was not only a dedicated mother and wife, but also a vital and inspiring member of our Houston running community. She had been selected as a local elite runner for the Houston Marathon in January, a testament to her commitment and passion. She also touched countless lives through her work at Baylor over the past four years, where she dedicated herself to helping patients in the physical therapy unit.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now, <strong>Lilia’s daughters are asking for our help to ensure their mother receives the dignified and beautiful burial she deserves and any additional funds will go towards a memorial in the park.</strong> They want to honor Lilia’s life in the way she lived—with love, grace, and dedication.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Please consider contributing, and share this link with anyone who knew Lilia, worked alongside her, or was touched by her kindness and strength.</strong> Every contribution, no matter the size, will help give Lilia the farewell she deserves.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for your support during this incredibly difficult time.

Support Lilia's Family After Unexpected Tragic Loss

<div>My brother David lost everything. He had $15,000 in renter's insurance, but it didn’t cover flood.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>I waded up to my chin to rescue him.</strong> We are both Navy veterans. He was on a submarine and I was on an Aegis cruiser.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>He lost everything and took on 4 plus feet. We lost 4 cars (we have kids) and took on almost 2 feet. We both had insurance, but it doesn’t touch the surface of the real cost to rebuild. We are in Tampa 33611.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Anything helps, please. The money will be spent for new furniture, clothing, and food for my brother. Our losses are nothing compared to his.</strong>
</div>

Support Navy Veteran David's Recovery

<div>In the wake of the recent devastating storms in Houston, Mandie and her family have suffered extreme damage to their home and vehicles. As they face the overwhelming task of rebuilding, they need our support more than ever.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please consider making a donation to help Mandie and her family during this critical time. Every contribution, big or small, will go directly towards repairs and other essentials needed to restore their lives.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Together, we can make a difference and help them find stability and hope amidst this hardship. Let’s rally to give back to someone who has always been there for others. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.

Support Mandie's Family Rebuild After Storm

<div>Hello family and friends, it was with a very heavy heart that we share the news of losing a loving mother and grandmother, Maria Loredo. Her son, Jose Loredo, and his family are in mourning and need our help. <strong>This tragedy has taken them by surprise.</strong> Their story has been shared on different news channels. <strong>Hurricane Beryl not only took the life of Mrs. Loredo, but it also destroyed their home.</strong> Whatever you can give will go towards their recovery and funeral expenses. We appreciate any assistance you can give for the Loredo family. Please share this. Thank you and God bless you all
</div>

</div>
<div>Funeral services will be updated as they become available.

Support for Jose's Family After Tragic Loss…Maria Loredo

<div>We are saddened by the news of Devon Moore's passing. In addition to being a local Houston artist, musician, long-time member of the skateboarding community, martial arts enthusiast, family man, and all-around great guy, he was also the owner of DCM Art Services.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For the past few years, Devon had been battling a viral heart infection. Earlier this year, it was determined that a transplant was needed. Since the beginning of June, Devon has been in the Cardiac ICU at Methodist Hospital awaiting a transplant. On Monday, during a procedure to help stabilize the pressure on his heart, Devon passed.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As you can imagine, this has been a costly journey for the family. We would like to bring as much support as possible to Lisa and Tessa in their time of need by raising funds to help cover medical costs. Any amount donated will help in this very trying time. Many thanks!

Help Us Cover Devon Moore's Medical Expenses

<div>As most of you reading this know, Danny became critically ill in the fall of 2017, leaving him a C6/C7 wheelchair-bound quadriplegic. Their trusty van was outfitted especially for Danny to ride and drive in his wheelchair. Elizabeth and Danny drove that van hard for years...to watch baseball and football games and for Danny to be "The Voice of the Patriots" in Pace, to see their kids participate in their sports and activities across the Southeast, to Optavia conferences and special meetings...well, really, that van has gone anywhere and everywhere and has afforded Elizabeth and Danny a sense of independence and normalcy in a very challenging personal health and caregiver situation.
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>On May 17, 2022, while traveling across Florida, the wheelchair van went kaput. If you follow The Gilroys on Facebook, you know what a trial and saga ensued. As you can imagine, the challenges have and will continue without a mode of transportation that is fitted for their needs. Knowing how many love Elizabeth and Danny, a few of us decided that it would be worth it to try to set up a gofundme to attempt to raise the $23,000 down payment it would take to pursue a new $80,000 van. If we break the $25,000 mark, I'll up the goal, but this is our first milestone.
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>Thank you to all who can give something -- anything -- to help these wonderful people who have selflessly and tirelessly dedicated their lives to helping others over and over again. I can't wait until we can make this necessity a reality for The Gilroys.

Let's Go, Gilroys!

<p>The year 2020 has seen much pain and suffering for many but it actual brought Hope as well.  Last year my sister, Ella Garner, was diagnosed with Chronic Lyme Disease. This diagnosis came after several years of misdiagnosis, a hospitalization for the flu and afterwards, debilitating pain, massive weight loss and she lost her singing voice. Acquiring this diagnosis, as complicated as it was, should have been something to celebrate but she soon discovered that there were no treatments available in Paris to help her.  <br /><br />Through her own extensive research, she discovered a possible solution. In March 2020 before the boarders closed for Covid, she was able to get to a treatment center in Nashville, TN at Biologix Center, where she began her healing journey.<br /><br />The months following that initial treatment, we have seen many improvements from her initial symptoms. But there is no quick fix for Lyme disease or the recovery. It takes time and continued treatment to achieve remission and this process is very costly.
</p>

<p>Despite losing her apartment in Paris and everything she had worked for, she still tries to remain positive. She takes time to reach out and support others going through the same struggle. She started a support group on FB in February 2020 for those in France in order to educate and give hope for treatment options. Since her treatment she made videos and post to keep them informed on her improvements and struggles. She continues to talk to her followers and tries to help them get as much helpful information as possible. <br /><br />I’m starting this GoFundMe campaign to help her with the continued medical costs. She still needs to keep in contact with her doctors, weekly IV therapy, daily supplements, medications and treatments to help heal the body.<br /><br />Ella is ready to get back to living again, back to singing again and I would like to have my duet partner back! Please help her get back out there, she has a lot to still offer the world!<br /><br />Please share.<br /><br />Thank you!

Help My Sister Recover From Lyme Disease

My beautiful baby, my 2 year old niece, Sawyer went to sleep on March 8th and never woke up. Her parents...my sister and brother-in-law went to wake her the next morning to find her blue and cold. They attempted CPR with no success...she was dead. Sawyer was the most amazing little girl. She was so full of live. So sassy and beautiful. She was more than my niece..she was my daughter. Aunt Shell loves you so much baby!!! I miss you so much...I need one of your hugs and tons of kisses.. <br />If anyone can help us with the expenses instead of flowers it would be amazing. Anything over will go to Vanessa and Brandon to help them continue on.
