<div>Hey—I'm a teen kid from Texas and my biggest dream is to meet the cast of Supernatural—Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, Misha Collins, Mark Sheppard, Ruth Connell and everyone else. They’re coming to Austin in November and I want to go more than anything.

<div>When I first started watching the show, I was going through a really rough time—like, at home and at school. I was pretty down and started questioning if I should even be here. Nothing was going right and I was really struggling. My family loves me and I have some really great friends, but I didn’t know how to pull myself out of it. I just felt like my whole life I had been handed the short end of the stick and it wasn't getting better.

<div>When I was in elementary, I had super thick glasses, trouble hearing, a speech delay, and ADD, and I didn’t always understand social stuff or boundaries so I was bullied… a lot. I’ve grown out of most of it now, but then middle school hit—and yeah… it can be brutal. I still don’t know how to stand up for myself very well. I just get mad and frustrated. I wasn’t doing well in school so I was getting into trouble a lot and things were just not going well.

<div>Then my mom introduced me to Supernatural. It became our thing—we’d watch it together all the time. She had no idea how much it would actually help me. It gave me something to look forward to. And I really started to connect with Dean. Watching Jensen Ackles play him made me feel like maybe I could be stronger too. Dean faces everything head-on, even when it’s scary, and he still cares so much about people and doing what’s right. I want to be like that. I want to be more brave like that.

<div>Honestly, he inspired me in ways I didn’t expect. Now I really want to be an actor someday. I’ve always been involved in theater but I started looking into auditions too. It’s scary, but in a good way—like maybe I’m finally doing something for me. I even had the courage to show up for golf tryouts with 42 other kids more experienced than me. I had never even been on a golf course before. I went from an alternate to playing in the region qualifier. I still have a long way to go, but things are looking up and I want to thank the cast of Supernatural in person for inspiring me. And for giving me new hope.

<div>I would love to get their autographs and take pictures with them but it's thousands of dollars to do it all. My mom says we can go, but I need to raise the rest. I'm asking around for things I can do to earn money and I hope you will support me.

<div>On Saturday October 25th, 2025 at 6:00 am, the Van Pelt family home was struck by lightning and caught on fire. The father had been preparing to leave for a trip and happened to be in the garage at the time. He saw the lightning strike across the street which caused the power to go out. He didn't know at the time that his home had also been hit during that strike and that a fire had begun inside. It seared through the house, miraculously missing the bedrooms nearby where is kids and wife were still sound asleep. The house was beginning to billow with black smoke so he rushed to evacuate his family and pets. Outside they stood in the pouring rain and waited for the fire department to arrive.

<div>They were able to salvage some of their belongings, but are currently displaced while they face the harrowing task of finding new living arrangements, insurance claims and overcoming the traumatizing event.

Lighting Strike & Fire Destroys a Family Home

<div>Devin is the most kind, caring, and compassionate person. He would give the shirt off his back. He loves to serve and for years has donated his time and money to feed the homeless and help the less fortunate in his community. He is always there to help anyone in need and now he needs our help.

<div>It began as a blood clot in his leg and quickly turned into kidney failure and the diagnosis of stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer. This has placed a tremendous financial burden on his family. <div>The doctors are saying this type of cancer is extremely rare for someone his age and very aggressive. The PET scan came back that it has spread to his bladder, femur, pelvis and in 2 lymph nodes. .

On March 12, Casey Goodwin passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind his wife of 18 years, Rebecca (Becca) and their five children Megan, Jacob, Lincoln, Emma, and Sarah. Casey was a devoted father,  husband, son and a dear friend to many.  He had a bright smile, a keen intellect, and a terrific sense of humor.  He loved his family and friends and had an abiding faith in God and the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ.  <br /><br />Casey’s sudden loss reminds us to cherish the time with our loved ones and to provide them support in times of need.  For Casey’s young family, that time is now!  Please join us in giving comfort and support to them. After the death of his mother, Cliff Latham and his wife, Vicki, were travelling to help settle the family affairs surrounding her death and funeral. While in Illinois, Cliff quite suddenly became very seriously ill. He was taken to St. John's Hospital in Springfield, where Cliff and his wife were told that he'd had two brain aneurysms. He requires constant medical care, and is far from his home in San Antonio, TX. Cliff and Vicki have been told that if he is to make the journey back home, he'll need a respiratory specialist and a nurse to accompany him for the entire trip. The estimate for his transportation and medical care on the journey is over $20,000.<br /><br />Please, help us get Cliff back home, where he can continue to receive the care he needs in a place that is familiar, comfortable, and close to his wife and sons.
