<div>For a moment, put yourself in Hallie’s shoes. Imagine being right in the prime time of your senior year of high school about to turn 18 years old. Your whole world ahead of you…preparing for all the lasts of your carefree high school journey with dreams of college just within your reach. Then in an instant your life is turned upside down with a cancer diagnosis. Now you’re planning for lengthy hospital stays, chemo treatments, losing the security your hair has provided you with, and a stem cell transplant. Juggling internal fears and anxieties while trying to comprehend medical jargon you’ve never even heard of before. Your identity is now cancer for the foreseeable future. That’s the reality Hallie has been living in since October.

<div>Now place yourself in Brian and Tara’s shoes…you’ve spent your parenthood journey guiding Hallie for her future. You’ve tackled the toddler tantrums and the potty training. You’re past the days of kissing minor boo boos, scaring away the monster under the bed, and picking out the perfect princess bandaids for the skinned knees. You’re ready to watch her spread her wings and fly knowing you’ve prepared her for this moment in adulthood. Now your worst nightmare has become your reality and you have to witness your child fight for her life, knowing you’d give anything to take her place because that’s what we do as parents. You are your children’s safe place but now you have to put full trust in the medical professionals who have quickly become a second family and a selfless anonymous donor who has the ability to save her life. You’re having to split your family to balance duties because the rest of life doesn’t stop for a cancer journey. The medical bills keep flowing; procedures not covered by insurance, countless ambulance rides, chemo schedules, radiation therapy, a transplant….but how could you ever say no to your child’s best chance of a future? And now you need to modify your home to make it safe for your child to return home to complete her healing. This is the journey Brian and Tara have conquered since October.

<div>Since October, we have been full force Team Hallie because HER fight is OUR fight and we are committed to see her to the end of this unfathomable journey. We are asking YOU to prayerfully consider linking arms with us as we rally around The Crane Family now. We have Hopeful Hearts for Hallie’s future because she’s a warrior who deserves the world. We have a goal of reaching $50,000 by May 31, 2025…the day that was meant to be Hallie’s high school graduation date. We desire to turn a day of grief into a ticket of hope for the future…are YOU up for the challenge?
