<div>Hello everyone, my name is Kristy. I'm a 46-year-old who hasn't been able to work in 5 years because of medical problems with my back ,heart and knees. I've been through two different law firms trying to get disability and keep getting denied. I just went through a heartbreaking ordeal with a family member and a gentleman that I was dating. I cannot say names because we are still going through things.

<div>I let this family member move in because they needed somewhere to go, and this is a very close family member. Of course, I did it with no problem, but I made sure they knew that I was behind on bills, wasn't working, and trying to get disability. They informed me that it wasn't a problem and they'd take care of the bills and get a job as soon as they moved in.

<div>As I said, I've been through two different law firms for disability and haven't had any luck, keep getting denied. I'm the type who doesn't really like relying on people because I know there are people out there worse off than I am. So fast forward 2 years, I met back up with an old friend, and things became serious between us. In December of 2024, I let him move in with us after getting it okayed by the family member who was paying the bills. She said yes, and we all became what I looked at as a whole family. This was something special to me. I had my family and had found love again after years of being alone.

<div>So things were going wonderful, or so I thought. Around April or May, I started feeling like something was off in this new little family we had going on. To be honest, I felt like my female family member and the man I loved were having a thing going on behind my back. Still, to this day, they deny it and say I'm crazy, which is what they had me feeling. Because no way would this family member do this to me. I was so wrong. I saw proof that they were, and heard from friends that came over that yes, they had been.

<div>On June 1st, 2025, they both moved out and took two little ones that were very, very close to my heart. They moved into a friend's place together and are now living as the couple they were hiding from me when they lived here. My heart was broken. Never in a million years did I think she would do that. I thought everything was fine. but it wasn't. She left me with two months' worth of bills, stating she's not paying anything and she's leaving me like she came into this place.

<div>Remember, I can't work. I've not been able to due to my health problems. I have arthritis in my spine, which means I cannot stand for long or sit in certain places for long. I have trouble walking because I of my knees. But I did everything for them. I watched the kids, cooked, cleaned, and went and picked up groceries, knowing I'm not supposed to be carrying stuff like that without any help from them.  Now I can't even see the little ones, who are my heart, my everything, and the family member says I'm nothing to her now. I don't care if I'm nothing to him, but it's the family that hurts.

<div><strong>So now I'm trying to find help to get the bills caught back up so I don't lose my home, the place I've lived for 9 years, and try to start over again.</strong> If there's anything anyone can do to help me keep my home, any amount will help and be very grateful. I would appreciate it, and I will keep everyone in my prayers. Yes, I will be trying to help get the money up myself, even if I have to go to organizations. <strong>Anything would be helpful, and I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance.
