We've stood by each other through all of life’s highs and lows, and today I’m writing this because her family needs help—and she’s too proud to ask for it herself.

<div>Donna’s husband, Dean, has been battling serious heart issues since they were just 18 years old. I’ve watched him fight with strength, dignity, and love for his family through every twist and turn of his health. And now, at 49, Dean is facing one of the most critical chapters yet.

<div>He is currently hospitalized and preparing for two heart procedures this week. He’s exhausted, in pain, and scared—but the most heartbreaking part? <strong>He’s out of sick time and PTO.</strong> While he fights for his life, he’s also worrying about how to support his family financially.

<div>And Donna? She’s doing what she’s always done—holding it all together. But here’s what most people don’t see: she’s also been quietly battling her own medical issues. She doesn’t broadcast it. She shows up anyway. She keeps going, even when her body is telling her to rest. And now, the weight she’s carrying is simply too much for one person.

Help the Wallace Family Through a Medical Crisis

<div>It was 12 years ago that I was asked to come to teach in Bulgaria with Media Alliance. I had never been asked to teach. I was being asked to teach TV production techniques to a group of media ministry people, many of which were just volunteers at their tiny churches or had no affiliation at all, just a desire to spread the Gospel through media. And they wanted to know how we were doing it at In Touch.  Even though I was fairly confident that I understood my craft well enough at this point, I  was unsure I would be a very effective teacher. I was also going to be teaching through an interpreter which would be quite a new experience. But I would not be teaching alone. John McKinnon, my closest friend and easily one of the best television people I had ever been around was going and teaching with me. We decided to have everyone produce a commercial about a sponge. But not just any sponge, a bright orange sponge with dreadlocks. It was a great time as John and I both grew as teachers and our love for the Balkin people grew. We began to realize just how powerful our words and what we taught was. And how it was playing a part in how the Gospel was and is being spread throughout the world. Since this first trip, I have had the privilege to travel with Media Alliance on 5 other trips to teach. Bangalore and Kolkata India for 3 trips and Kiev for the other 2. And now I have been invited to return to the Balkins in September to help share any knowledge I may have on how to leverage media to spread the Gospel. And it will be in Albania this time and I hear some of my friends that I met 12 years may be there as well. But I need some assistance this time to cover airfare, video equipment rentals in country for teaching purposes, airport parking and travel expenses to and from Albania. I believe that what we are doing is making a difference in the quality and therefore the effectiveness of the media that the ministries are distributing. If this seems like a good endeavor to you, I ask that you pray about supporting me financially. My trip is in late September but I will have to get the airfare soon. Thank you so much in advance. Support Media Training for Gospel Outreach

<div>Hey… we’re Eric &amp; Kimberly davis … our journey started 7 years ago …early April 2016  my eric started having some serious stomach problems… he could not keep food down and his stomach was hurting very bad …on april 4th ( my birthday) we had a appointment with our doctor to find out what was going on … we were sent stat for eric to have a cat scan and within 30 minutes we were called to come back to the office…they had found a tumor ..we were sent for a colonoscopy and on April 7th he was admitted to the hospital for major bowel surgery… they took 2 1/2 feet of large intestine… and 30 days later he started chemo … 2019 he ended up with a another colectomy and they took 4 feet of his small intestine… my eric has been on and off chemo since 2016 …. my eric has a large tumor that is in a spot that’s impossible to get out … He did 15 radiation treatments….In the last couple of months we have been told to go home and die … we’ve gone to see specialist out west… my eric has been hurting worse since last year and we couldn’t get anyone to listen or do anything except chemo … the last couple of months my eric has gotten worse… the abdominal pain has been unbearable… two weeks ago I had to rush eric in to get checked out … he’d been throwing up for days and could barely move …they ran all kinds of test cat scans , blood work etc …on may 17th he was admitted to the hospital and the next morning we were met with our surgeon … we were told we had 2 choices …. Go home to die or go into a exploratory surgery… we were told that quality of life was not guaranteed… they weren’t even sure he was gonna make it out of the surgery….my eric came out of the surgery with less than a foot of large intestine … he now has a ileostomy bag … he now has to have nutrition by iv … he’s able to eat  but it will not provide enough nutrients for him … the surgical team has had to figure out how to make all of this work … I’m my husband’s caregiver… I take care of all his appointments via email or phone calls , insurance basically I do everything medical for him …. Now my eric has a lot of healing to do … he will have to have nutrition iv the rest of his life and a bag that I will be responsible for … we will have  to have home health care always… our lives are forever changed… we know that none of this is a surprise to  our God … we’ve had a lot of answered pray on our journey… if you feel led to help us please do so …

<div>He is out and doing well! 3 bypasses were done. He will be recuperating for a LONG while. We are so thankful for all of you and for ALL the blessings that have favored Matt and the Goodman Family today. When Matt us up to receiving visitors, we would love to have you stop by with a crispy, fresh veggie tray and a tofu platter! Thanks again, our prayers have truly been answered today. <div>The Goodman men have inherited stellar looks, impeccable minds and brilliant humor! The trade-off is we also inherited lousy plumbing and a sincere appreciation for all things fried! My Father, Rhett Fuller Goodman, Myself, Rhett Goodman Anders have both had Heart Bypasses. We now begrudgingly welcome my older, less attractive brother, Matthew Goodman to the club. Matt has a HUGE heart, as you know and currently, it is not pumping right. He will have quadruple bypass surgery this Tuesday, May 16th, 2023 in Athens Georgia. I would like a couple of things from you please;

<div>1. Prayer. Light a candle, say a word and let's lift biggie up and hope the doctors have a steady hand and bright minds. Pray that Matt and his entire family find peace and renewal during this trying health scare.

<div>2. A couple of dollars. Matt will be out of work for at LEAST 2 months, maybe more. The bills will continue to roll in and there is a large deductible to be met. It would be great for us to band together and give him peace of mind after his surgery.
