<p>I'm a Graduate student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I grew up in a small village in Laikipia County, Kenya. My faith, and this particular Christian community (Full Gospel Church of Kenya-Thigio), contributed significantly in molding me into the research scientist I am today. Most of our local church members are uneducated, but their significant role in raising ambitious and responsible children who can go forth and make a positive impact globally is unmatched.

<p><b>They have been constructing a modern worship community center for over 7 years, and the project is stalled because they cannot raise money to finish the project. </b>Despite most of them being peasant farmers, they have struggled to put up this incomplete structure. <b>I would love you all to join me in helping them complete this project</b>; it's the only way you and I can enhance the role played by faith in enriching a community. <b>Your support is highly appreciated!</b>
