Hello, thank you for taking time to read this. <br /><br />In January  2021, Juan Flores started to feel sick and he had difficulty breathing. He tested positive for COVID on Jan 19th and just days later went to the hospital.  Several days after Juan was admitted to the hospital, his son Michael went to the ER, was admitted with the same diagnosis of COVID pneumonia and quickly had to be intubated. Juan was worried sick and did all possible to comfort and encourage Michael to get better. From his hospital bed he prayed for him via Webex meeting. On Jan. 31, Michael woke up from his sedated state at 1:00pm and at 2:20pm Juan had to be intubated. He has had a few good days in the middle of some really bad days, but each day he fights.  As of March 9, he has already spent 47 days in the hospital being treated for COVID pneumonia and other issues that COVID has inflicted on his body. He has been on a ventilator for 37 of those days. <br /><br />Juan is an amazing man who has always put his family and community first. He is a Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Uncle and Friend.  He has worked for the SUHSD for over 20 years at North Salinas High and now as the Plant Foreman at Rancho San Juan High. In the past 30 years he has been a soccer coach in Salinas for the YMCA, City Leagues and NSHS, as well as in Gonzales at GHS and Fairview for both Boys and Girls teams. He has lead teams to CCS Championships leaving a legacy of influence and inspiration on hundreds of youth.  <br /><br />Our family has been praying everyday in hopes that Juan will heal enough to go home to be with his wife Alicia and his sons, Johnny, Michael and Fernando. The prayers have been helpful, yet, we still wanted to do more. So we are here asking for your support. Juan will need help with medical bills and with equipping his home with all that will be necessary for a safe and smooth transition from the hospital, in addition to supporting his family in the way that he has always done. <br /><br />We are also hosting a BBQ fundraiser on March 20th in Gonzales, Ca. Coach Juan's Covid Relief

On January 9th, a beautiful and illuminating life came to an end. Our dear "Tatay" Josefino Centeno passed away due to Covid 19, changing the world forever.  He will be dearly missed and will live on forever in our hearts and in all the beautiful memories.<br /><br />Please consider helping out our dear Auntie Irma and their family to show love and support in their time of need.

It is under the most devastating and tragic of circumstances that we are setting up this GoFundMe page for Dominic and his sweet, 1-week-old baby girl, Adaline.<br /><br />On Saturday, March 21st, Dom and his loving wife, Janelle, welcomed their beautiful and healthy baby girl into this world. They spent Saturday and the better part of Sunday in the hospital resting, enjoying their first moments as new parents together before being discharged and heading home to celebrate with family and beginning this new chapter in their lives together.<br /><br />Not even 24hrs later, Janelle was readmitted to the hospital due to a severe case of cellulitis.  Within less than 72hrs, she developed an infection that rapidly transformed into necrotizing fasciitis (a rare and aggressive flesh-eating bacteria).<br /><br />Late Thursday night, Janelle was transferred to UCLA for immediate surgery to remove the infected tissue that was spreading rapidly.  She was kept under anesthesia for the next 48 hours while they took her in for multiple surgeries; cleaning and removing more and more infected tissue and ultimately removing her uterus, which had been overtaken by the infection.<br /><br />On Saturday, March 28th, the doctors suspected that the infection had begun to release toxins into her blood and surgery-wise there was nothing else they could do for her.  They set her up with courses of IVIG and antibiotics and prayed for a miracle.  Janelle fought hard for her life, but later that evening, she ultimately lost the battle.  Her body simply couldn’t withstand the magnitude of what was going on and she passed away from multi-organ failure due to the massive infection.<br /><br />Due to Covid-19, neither Dom nor Adaline were allowed to stay at the hospital with her.  Dom was granted a couple of 30-minute visits to see her towards the end, but she was only conscious for one of those visits.<br /><br />Janelle was 26 years old.  She was loving, loyal, creative, intelligent, dorky, sweet, so funny and genuinely beautiful inside and out.  She lit up every room she walked into and had so much more life to live.  Janelle and Dom had so many dreams and plans for their future… one of the biggest being to start a family together.  They were so eager to begin this new journey and Janelle was so excited to be Adaline’s mom, but in the blink of an eye, everything has changed.<br /><br />They say it takes a village to raise a child.  Dom is going to need that village more than ever now.  So we are calling on you to please help support him, however you can, as he begins to navigate this unthinkable tragedy.<br /><br />If you can donate, please do what you can!  If you cannot donate, please share!  If you cannot share, please say a prayer! <br /><br />It’s going to be a long road of healing.  But, to all those who have donated and shared so far, your generosity and outpour of love and support are already making a world of difference for this sweet family.  No words could ever be enough, but thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
