<p>Loyde Wayne Junkin past away on August 15, 2021 from Covid. He did not have life insurance. He retired from Waxahachie Fire Department. And has been a Wage Instructor for TEEX. He has been working with TEEX/TDEM in the battle for Covid-19. As of July 15, 2021 was day 465 into the mission. He was deployed shortly after that to start NIMS training for the state. And shortly after that he was exposed and contracted Covid. He went to the ER on July 27th. And had a hard fight. His lungs were inflamed and had hardened. and his O2 dropped into the 30's.  His kidneys also failed. At 1:40pm on August 15th he past away.

<p> We were hopeful he would recover knowing how determined our dad was to keep everyone safe and well. He was the most giving and kind person I have ever known. Mom will hopefully be released today from the hospital. He was so upset he brought it home to her. Our mission now is to get mom well and try to do our best to help continue his mission in helping others.

<div><strong>My Best Friend Scott Gee was involved in a workplace injury</strong> where he sustained a pretty bad concussion and will be out of work for a few weeks at the minimum. Scott is having severe headaches and blurred vision, is uneasy on his feet, and has back pain. Scott owns Grace Custom Laser Engravings, a side hustle where he engraves cups, bottles, charcuterie boards, signs, and other items, but the doctors don’t want him doing much so his brain has time to rest. So he’s just going to be out of commission for a while.

<div>Scott’s generosity for others always amazes me. He’s normally the one donating to others by monetary donations or by donating laser-engraved items to be auctioned off for special fundraising events. Also, Scott will have some pre-made items up for sale at a discounted rate to help with their financial situation. <strong>Scott is one of the hardest working guys I’ve ever known, always hustling to provide for his family.</strong> His wife, Amy, has had to take several days off from work to help him recover. <strong>If you feel like donating a little to help them out, I know they would be grateful. If you can’t at this time, we ask you to please keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.</strong>
