A New Chapter for Chloe & Johnny

<div>Hi my name is Hudson walker, I am a 17 year old. About 2 years ago I started my dream of bodybuilding and as the years have gone by it has become more than a dream, it has become my life. My goal is to become Mr Olympia and I will not stop to become that. I will be someone who shows people that you can become anything and overcome anything if you stay positive and put in the work, but sometimes life hits you hard. I was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a type of bone cancer, in my knee. I will have to go through 9 months of chemotherapy, and surgery on my knee. The treatments I have to get are going to ruin my body, and even have lasting side effects when I make it through this. This is just a step I need to overcome so I can become who I need to be, and live for the people I love. I have amazing people by my side like my loving girlfriend, who I wish to marry one day. We have been together for a year now. I know she is the love of my life, and I have never met anyone more perfect for me. She is one of my biggest supporters overall. Her family has helped me so much as well. They are allowing her to stay with me, and she is going to be taking care of me through chemo and my surgery. The day that I found out I had cancer her father immediately took her to come see me, they had driven 3 hours from Fayetteville to Rock Hill and back. I know she will make this an easy 9 months. I made a promise that I will get through this and that I will get on one knee and make her my wife. My parents are also my biggest supporters. Both of my parents have always supported me through my bodybuilding even though it has put a lot of stress on them. Now that I cannot work it has definitely put more of a strain on them both. They are both amazing people who will be with me through this whole thing and more. This is going to be one of the most difficult things I will ever have to go through, and it would be amazing to have your help and support as well.

<div>I have worked very hard for this and I know that I will lose most of my progress that I have made in my bodybuilding career, but I will make the biggest comeback and tell my story on stage when I win!

Hudson's Hope: Cancer Fight and Comeback

<div>Just a few weeks ago, nearly two-year-old Josie woke up and suddenly couldn’t keep her balance. She stumbled when she tried to walk and couldn’t coordinate her movements. At first, doctors thought it might just be fluid in her ears. But when things didn’t get better, her parents took her to the hospital for more testing.
</div>

<div>After several scans and blood tests that all came back normal, Josie was diagnosed with cerebellitis, an inflammation of the brain that was expected to resolve on its own. But her symptoms continued, and her parents refused to give up searching for answers.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>After a series of additional MRIs, a neurologist at Duke Children’s Hospital ordered a full-body CT scan. That scan revealed devastating news — a neuroblastoma tumor near her spine. The tumor had triggered a rare autoimmune condition called Opsoclonus Myoclonus Ataxia Syndrome (OMAS), which affects the brain and nervous system. Only 2–4% of children with neuroblastoma experience this syndrome.
</div>

<div>OMAS has caused Josie to lose her balance and coordination, making it difficult for her to do the things every toddler loves to do — walk, play, and explore.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Josie spent a week at Duke Children’s, where she received five days of IV steroids and two days of IVIG treatments (antibodies from donor blood). Surgeons were able to successfully remove the tumor, and the family is now waiting on final biopsy results.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But Josie’s journey is far from over. Her treatment plan includes:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>IV Rituximab infusions, each lasting 5–6 hours
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Monthly IV steroids for six months
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>IVIG treatments once a month for at least a year — possibly two to three years
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Ongoing physical and occupational therapy
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Full-body scans every three months to monitor for any recurrence
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Through it all, Josie continues to smile and show incredible strength. She is a loving little sister to her 3½-year-old sister and a proud big sister to her baby brother, who is just three months old.
</div>

</div>
<div>Her family is doing everything they can to support her, but the road ahead includes countless medical appointments, hospital stays, and travel for treatment. Your donation will help cover medical costs, therapies, travel, and the many expenses that come with long-term care.

<div>I'm doing something that is so beyond out of my comfort zone. I've always dealt with life's struggles on my own, it's not in my DNA to ask for help! But, as my sister strongly pointed out this is bigger than anything I've ever encountered, that I need to put my pride and stubbornness aside and ask for help. As you all know, Pete had a stroke about 5 years ago that led to early onset dementia. The time is here where I've realized that I have to put Pete in a daycare facility so I can continue to work and Pete can get the professional help he needs. It's more that I can afford on my own. Being in daycare will allow for me to pick up more clients and hopefully be able to afford it myself eventually. Anything would be greatly appreciated!

GregO Kilpatrick Stairway To Six

<div>Hello all, we are Maks and Alanna Yakovenko starting a fundraiser on behalf of our family in Ukraine.

<div>Our brother Nazar, sister-in-law Ruslana and their nearly 2-year-old baby Aria had to flee their home near the start of the war as their city, Irpin, would soon become a hot spot for conflict and violence. Sadly, they predicted correctly, and we are very thankful that they could escape. 
</div>

</div>
<div>They are now in a city at the very west edge of the country and have little resources to pay for basic needs. Ruslana is doing whatever jobs she can find, and Nazar has been transporting supplies back and forth from Lviv to Kyiv to support the war effort for no pay. There are also hardly any jobs to be found in the country, and prices of common goods are skyrocketing due to war-induced hyperinflation.

<div>We have been supporting them the best we can with what we already have, but we are stretched very thin considering we also have two other family members here from Ukraine as well.

<div>They are currently looking for online jobs and means to pay for rent. Since Nazar is a male, he is not allowed to leave the country, and Ruslana doesn't want to be separated from him.

Meeting the Needs of Our Family in Ukraine

<br />As some of you are aware Billy Fitzpatrick II has Covid-19 and is in critical condition on life support. He was rushed to Eastern Maine Medical Center and his family is unsure of how they are going to afford his medical and personal bills. Billy is a helpful and caring person as anyone who knows him can agree, so now is our time to help him. If you are able to donate, no matter how much, please do. Please keep Billy, Lynn and Megan along with the rest of his family in your prayers as they have been going through very difficult times the past few weeks. Thank you. <br />Anyone who ever met Tony Stover is well aware of the kind and caring spirit of this beloved man.  Tony never met a stranger and, no matter what was going on, Tony always had a smile and a kind word for everyone.  He loved his work and was happy to do anything to make everyone else's day lighter and brighter.  <br /><br />Tragically, Tony faced a stroke this past week.  After days in the hospital,  even Tony's strength and determination were not able to win this battle, and he passed away on  March 4, 2021.  <br /><br />As his family mourns their great and sudden loss, they will soon be confronted with  medical and funeral expenses.  Already facing such heartbreak, it is the hope of some of us who have joined together, to organize a collective effort to ease the financial hardship facing Tony's loved ones.  It is our hope that the money raised through this platform will assist his family with these expenses.  <br /><br />It is our prayer that everyone who knew and loved Tony will start to heal and always remember him for the man he was ~ a man filled with great love for friends and family, who lived with integrity, who was kind, caring, hard-working, funny, positive and who really cared about the happiness of others.  <br /><br />Tony leaves behind 4 children and 6 grandchildren.  Community means nothing if we do not come together in hard times to assist those who need our love and support the most.  We love you Tony and will miss you terribly ~ now it is time for us to have your back. #stoverstrong<br /><br />Really hoping for your support!<br /><br />Shari Goldstein, Christina Highfield, Jessica Johnston and Robin Woods
