Recently, our sweet Tanner was involved in an accident. The most important thing is that he is now home and doing well, focusing on healing and getting back to his old self.

For a kid as active as Tanner, who is deeply involved in baseball and loves every moment on the field, this recovery period will be a significant adjustment. He's disappointed to be missing out on baseball camp and fall ball, and we want to do everything we can to make his time at home as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

This GoFundMe is a way to support Tanner during his recovery. All funds raised will go directly to Tanner to be used for things that will bring him joy and entertainment while he's on bed rest – think special snacks, movies, games, or anything that helps pass the time and keeps his spirits up. Your generosity will mean the world to him.

Thank you for being a part of Tanner's support system!

Bring smiles to Tanner during his recovery!

Rob and Nicole Dort's daughter Samantha was born on June 25th of this year with severe Ebstein's Anomaly, a heart defect of the tricuspid valve.

The medical costs of the first month alone totaled over $1 million dollars. Fortunately, insurance is covering most of that but the $12,000 out of pocket insurance costs, combined with a multitude of other expenses related to this are a large financial burden.

They're balancing many responsibilities during this time including caring for their three-year-old son and staying at UCSF so someone is always there comfort baby Samantha if she wakes up in pain.

Please consider donating any amount to help the Dort family get through this challenging time.
