My mother, Andrea Ragsdale, suddenly got ill on Friday morning, July 31st. She had a seizure at her home, when she got into the ambulance she went into cardiac arrest and lost consciousness. We found out she had a tear in her intestines and was internally bleeding. She went into cardiac arrest again when she was in the hospital and that lasted for 10 minutes. They did theraputic hypothermia which meant they cooled her body to 32 degrees for 24 hours then rewarmed her. She was supposed to gain brain activity when she was warmed back up but she never regained her brain activity. At the end she was brain dead and all of her organs had failed. This was very unexpected and we are needing to raise a sum of money to pay for her to get cremated and anything else that may come up.

Today we lost my little brother. I'm not really sure what the story is here.  He was 18 with so much of his life ahead of him. Our family is devistated. Mostly my mother,  who lost her youngest child. It breaks my heart to look into her eyes and not begin to grasp the pain she hides behind them, as she prepares to bury her baby.  So I humbly ask for you to help me help her. We cannot afford to have a service, and the family recently lost two other members and we are in a bind.
