<div>Hi, my name is Joan and I’m a black trans fem. I’m currently working two jobs in order to afford living by myself on a super tight budget. This means I can’t really save much money to put towards gender affirming care, and for the past couple years my gender dysphoria has got increasingly bad. At points I’ve felt completely hopeless about my transition, feeling as if I will always be trapped looking like a man. This affects my mental health greatly and has at times pushed me to some very dark places and it has hard because I do not have a lot of local community support. I’m asking for funding to go towards my facial feminisation.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div> I will be trying to save some of my own funds as well, so the funds raised here will go to towards the total rather than being the sole amount. Any support, even a share, would be greatly appreciated.

Help black trans fem get facial feminisation

<div>This is Brianna’s sister Courtney. If you know the Garber’s at all, we don’t ask for help, but I have to put my pride aside and ask for help for both my mom and I in this devastating time.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>My sweet angel of a sister, my best friend, this feels like a nightmare we can’t wake up from. Today we lost the glue to our family..it’s with my deepest hole in my heart that I ask for help to put my sister to rest peacefully and help reduce the financial burden this will put my mom and I through.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>If you knew Brianna you know how much she lit up any room she walked into; the most beautiful and radiant woman, always. She had the biggest heart, always doing the most for others and taking care of herself along the way. She had dreams as far as the stars reach and beyond; I always admired that about her. Brianna would set her mind to something and wouldn’t do anything less than 100% at it. She was determined, strong, loving, beautiful, caring, ambitious, smart, hardworking, outgoing, adventurous; she was the light of our lives even on the darkest days. A life with so much more to live taken from this world FAR too soon.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I’m not sure what the future holds for us as this sudden and tragic loss puts us in a really hard spot. Further services will be discussed at a later time.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Please feel free to reach out to me, Courtney Garber for anything.

</div>

<div>If you knew my sister please send me/comment your favorite memory/ picture with or of her, I would love to see/ hear the great impact her sweet heart had on those around her.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Thank you for any and everything.
