<div>There is no easy way to say it but as some of you may know or may not know Felix has recently been diagnosed with Cancer. Him being the guy he is would NEVER in a million years ask for a help as we all know. He is the GO TO person. The one so many of us have spent nights talking to getting advice from, having our door opened for and spending holidays with. He even has loaned us all his family more than once. Felix is the type of guy you want around for years to come but he is the type of guy you want as a friend more than anything. He is a dad to three wonderful boys. We are creating this fund raiser to help him through the next few weeks and the upcoming months because we really dont know what is going to happen once they open him up. Here is the update from Felix himself.

<div>****A couple months ago, out of nowhere I woke up one morning and started having a lot of abdominal pain, I started having these sharp excruciating pains that would come and go in waves. The pain would

<div>Last anywhere from 1-3 minutes, sharp pains then go away. Then an hour later or less it would hit me again… this would go on all day long, every day for weeks,, then go away for a couple days then come back. The frequency got closer and lasted longer each week…  The pain was bad but the concerning part was I was rapidly losing weight and don’t know why, also I was using the bathroom like 8-15 times a day and each time with lots of bright red blood in my stool. pretty soon it was more blood in the toilet than anything else. My initial CT didn’t show much, just a thickening of the colon wall in the lower left section (they chalked it up to some kind of ‘colitis? Since the CT didn’t show any other spots or masses or much of anything else). Symptoms started getting worse and I got a referral for a colonoscopy about a month later. That’s where the fun part starts. During the colonoscopy they found two cancerous spots, one of them a tumor big enough to cause a blockage in my colon preventing anything or mostly anything from passing (and that’s where all the pain was coming from). They immediately wanted to schedule a surgery to removing the cancerous areas as well as the blockage as soon as possible… they won’t know what stage I’m at until they cut out about a foot of my colon and do some exploring while they are in there and do  another biopsy of what they cut out as well as check to see if anything has spread to my lymph nodes. I have a chest CT scheduled this week also. It’s a scary and confusing time for sure. Trying to keep upbeat so as not to worry friends and family is what I’m trying to do,, while trying not to freak myself out on the inside in the meantime. It’s a fine line to walk. Doc says 2-3 days in the hospital and then 3-6 weeks of recovery time after that. They seem to be confident based on the info we have at the time that I might not need chemo or radiation afterwards,,, but that could change the moment they open me up… so let’s just all pray for the first out come ok? Lol. Anyways I felt like I just needed to get this off my chest, I needed to let it out.  The truth is I am scared, I am concerned, I am worried about my family, my kids, my friends and my girlfriend,,, y’all didn’t sign up for this and I feel like a sucka for making y’all go through this with me. Kinda like I let y’all down friends shouldn’t put y’all through this. I’m supposed to be the fun one, the one who makes y’all laugh, the one who talks you off the ledge,,, I’m not supposed to be brining you down yet here I am, the one causing all of you (my friends and family) pain and suffering and worry. I love you guys.

<div>As you can see the type of man he is, hes more worried about eveyone but himself. If you can donate anything to help him during this time I know Christina and myself will be so grateful as far as Felix goes he will try as hard as he can to convey how grateful he is but still will feel like he is falling short.
