Zelda’s Corner needs your support to keep our doors open!!!<br /><br />The pandemic and the situation in Venice Beach has placed us in an awkward position. While we have applied for assistance from government agencies, we have received nothing.  It looks like we may not survive this waiting game, due to the large number of restaurants applying for the same allocated funds. <br /><br />During the pandemic, Zelda’s Corner never  lowered its standards, continuing to purchase our produce from the Santa Monica farmers market, our meat from suppliers with the same standards we have. (Mary’s Turkey, Beeler’s Pure Pork, Cape Grim Beef) and our bread from the Breadbar.<br /><br />In order to keep going we incurred a great deal of debt.<br /><br />We are asking for your support to help see use through the tail end of this pandemic.  The help you give will allow us survive until we are self supporting again.<br /><br />Of all the things I planned for, a hundred year pandemic was not among them. <br /><br />Creating and sharing good food was always a dream of mine.<br /><br />Thank you for your help.

Manhattan Business Academy is a school that takes care of its community. When we heard one of our amazing seniors lost everything in a fire, this week, we knew we needed to help. <br /><br />As a world, we are already in an impossibly difficult time.  Seniors, and all students, are not getting the educational experience they deserve. To make matters worse, this amazing family faced another impossible hardship. They lost everything. Everything was damaged. Clothes and home are gone. They're living with  another family they know for shelter. Her mother explained this to us through tears today. <br /><br />Please join us in helping to provide relief for this incredible girl and her family. No amount of money will replace what they've lost, but any type of donation will help. All funds raised, including any amount exceeding the goal, will go to the family.  No dollar amount is too small. Hi, we're Team Osom (2x4 Roller Derby), we're a team from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Since our first trip to USA we've been going up the rankings until we achieved the great honor of reaching number 12 worldwide. But this road doesn't end there: today our goals are bigger than ever since we want to get to the top 10 and make it to championships, but to accomplish this thing we need your help. This makes it difficult to maintain our position in the ranking and play the required games. We train in a public court under a highway overpass, with no bathrooms, no changing rooms or lockers, no water, no proper lighting and since it doesn't have walls, it's being constantly affected by weather conditions. After visiting Armenia for the first time this past spring, I was profoundly moved by the warmth of its people, the breathtaking landscapes, and the untapped creative potential I saw in children living in rural communities.

<div>This grassroots initiative will provide kids with donated cameras and guided workshops that teach not only the basics of photography like lighting, composition, and camera settings, but also how to tell their own stories with intention and voice. The ultimate goal is to equip them with tools for self-expression, pride in their culture, and a way to share their experiences with the wider world.
