<div>Imagine being a young girl, excited about learning, only to be forced to miss school simply because you lack access to menstrual products or basic knowledge about your body. In Uganda and globally, 66% of girls have no information about menstruation until their first period, leaving them scared, ashamed, and unprepared. Even worse, many are forced to use mud, soil, or banana fibers to manage their bleeding. This must change!

<div><strong>FlowReady is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young girls through menstrual education and access to sustainable period products.</strong> We work with pre-bleeders - young girls who have yet to experience their first period - to ensure they are informed, prepared, and never caught off guard.  FlowReady also works to dismantle the dangerous association between menarche and readiness for marriage or childbearing, advocating for the rights and empowerment of young girls. This can help prevent early marriages and protect girls’ educational opportunities.

<div>This fundraiser will support our Menstrual Health Education Program at Buwaaya Primary School in Uganda, where we will:

<div>✅ Provide 250 reusable menstrual pad kits (lasting up to 2 years!)
</div>
<div>✅ Educate 250 girls (bleeders and pre-bleeders) about menstrual health
</div>
<div>✅ Train 30 boys as peer champions to fight period stigma
</div>
<div>✅ Establish a peer support network to keep the conversation going
</div>

<div>Disposable pads are expensive and contribute to waste. Our reusable pads are eco-friendly, cost-effective in the long run, and last up to two years, reducing the financial burden on families and helping the environment!
