<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Purtroppo, nel 1997, è venuto a mancare mio padre.
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div>•	garantire cibo per almeno un mese.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div>•	vivere,
</div>
<div>•	studiare,
</div>
<div>•	crescere,
</div>
<div>•	e coltivare i propri talenti, nello sport e non solo.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div>Tutto sarà documentato: spese, ricevute, fatture e avanzamenti del progetto.
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Percorso previsto del progetto
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div>1.	Avvio ufficiale della raccolta fondi su GoFundMe
</div>
<div>2.
</div>
<div>3.	Individuazione e valutazione del terreno in Liberia
</div>
<div>4.
</div>
<div>5.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><strong>English version</strong> :
</div>
<div>Important note: the images shown in this fundraising campaign are illustrative of the final project (renderings) and do not represent real photos of an existing building.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My name is Bussi Filippo. I was born in Monrovia, Liberia, to an Italian father and a Liberian mother. When I was 2 years old, in 1983, my family moved to Italy, where I completed my entire education and grew up.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Throughout my childhood and teenage years, I had one great passion: football (soccer).
</div>
<div>I played regularly, and many people around me believed I had the potential to reach high levels. My dream was to become a professional footballer, not only for personal fulfillment, but because even back then I had a clear idea: one day returning to Liberia and building a football field for children.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Unfortunately, in 1997 my father passed away.
</div>
<div>From that moment on, my life took a different direction, and many things changed, including my sporting path. The dream never disappeared, but it was put on hold.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In 2005, I returned to Liberia for the first time after many years and found a country deeply marked by a long civil war.
</div>
<div>The destruction was not only visible in the streets and buildings, but above all in the people. What struck me the most was the presence of so many orphaned children, alone and without any points of reference.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Yet, in the middle of all this, I witnessed something extraordinary:
</div>
<div>an incredible amount of talent. Children who could play football, dance, and sing with a natural ability I had never seen anywhere else. What shocked me most was that none of them had ever studied or received any formal training for what they were able to do.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Today, twenty years later, I am the father of three children. I run a business in the center of Tivoli and work as a security manager for a company in Rome.
</div>
<div>Life has given me responsibilities, stability, and awareness. And that dream, left on hold for many years, has now returned stronger than ever.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In recent times, I have not been alone on this journey.
</div>
<div>A group of about ten friends decided to support me in a concrete way, and together we have already taken a first small but meaningful step.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We helped a family living in a shack that flooded every time it rained. With about 500 euros, we were able to:
</div>
<div>•	buy a bed, as they were sleeping on wet mattresses,
</div>
<div>•	carry out basic repairs to the shack they lived in,
</div>
<div>•	provide food for at least one month.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We know very well that this is just a drop in the ocean, but for us it was a concrete beginning, and we are deeply proud of it.
</div>
<div>It proves that even with little, it is possible to do something real.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My goal now is to build an orphanage with an attached football field in Liberia, a safe place where children can:
</div>
<div>•	live,
</div>
<div>•	study,
</div>
<div>•	grow,
</div>
<div>•	and develop their talents, in sports and beyond.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I was advised to open a fundraising campaign on GoFundMe.
</div>
<div>I admit I am skeptical, but I believe that trying cannot hurt—especially when the cause is helping others, in this case, children.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>At the moment, I am in the initial phase of the project.
</div>
<div>In the coming days, I will meet with a friend who is an architect, to whom I will explain my idea in detail and define the path forward.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Everything will be documented: expenses, receipts, invoices, and project progress.
</div>
<div>My commitment is to keep all donors constantly updated, step by step, with maximum transparency.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Planned project path
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>(subject to change and updates over time):
</div>
<div>1.	Official launch of the GoFundMe fundraising campaign
</div>
<div>2.	Meeting with the architect and preliminary project definition
</div>
<div>3.	Identification and evaluation of suitable land in Liberia
</div>
<div>4.	Purchase of the land and initial construction materials
</div>
<div>5.	Gradual start of construction work and public updates on project progress
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This project was not born out of personal ambition, but from a deep desire to give something back to the land that gave me my roots and to children who deserve a better future.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you from the bottom of my heart to anyone who chooses to support this project.
</div>
<div>Even the smallest help can make a huge difference in the lives of these children.
