She is also currently out of work because she injured her back severely and they are dragging her settlement case so that she takes the least amount of resources from the company. While the work injury case drags on in court, she is NOT eligible to apply for unemployment and other support so she has used up all her funds to stay afloat on top of the financial support my brother and I provide for her. However, this has become unsustainable for me as I cannot pay her bills, muneka’s medical care, and my own financial needs as well.

<div>A large part of this fund will be used to pay off her car which is where she’s currently staying. She also owes money to various collection agencies so that is also part of it as well. The funds will go to majority housing costs (hotels while shes in-between housing, finding a new apartment, paying for deposits etc.), part car payment, and part debt recovery. Ideally, we could raise more funds for her overall wellbeing and care too.

<div>Hello, my name is Mahmoud Ashour, I'm currently studying abroad in Turkey and I am raising funds to help my family survive the ongoing genocide in Gaza. They have been living under Israeli bombardment and blockade for the past ten months. Like most Palestinians in Gaza, my family does not have the practical and financial means to leave the Gaza Strip safely; Constantly finding themselves caught between horrifying realities. Like any human, they do not want to leave their home, however, when you’re fighting to survive a genocide, your only option is to seek refuge.

<div>The ultimate goal is to support them but eventually evacuate them as soon as possible once the Rafah border is opened. My family has been stripped of every human right: food, water, schools, jobs and, they have no prospects for life, forcing them to evacuate from Gaza when possible so they can start over from scratch. Although we are raised to be men who rely on ourselves and do not seek outside help, the recent horrific murder of my father has left me with no other option but to ask for your help here.

Now, it lies in ruins. The beautiful shops, the vibrant markets, the cherished family homes—all have been decimated to rubble and destroyed just as the rest of Gaza has been. The place where my siblings played, where we shared meals, and where we built our memories has been obliterated. The loss is not just of physical structures but of our collective hopes and dreams.

<div>To whomever doesn’t know, the people of Gaza have been enduring unimaginable horrors. They have been displaced multiple times, moving from one temporary shelter to another. Initially, my family fled from our home in Al-Remal neighborhood to stay with relatives. However, the military soon reached that area in northern Gaza, forcing them to return to our heavily damaged house. The situation grew increasingly dire, and they moved again to my cousin’s house, then to a friend of my father's, and finally to an apartment of a relative who had already evacuated to southern Gaza. Despite a brief week-long ceasefire, the military reoccupied their area, and they returned to our destroyed family home once more.

<div>In December, the Israeli military entered, raided, and wrecked our entire home, sifting through all our belongings, stealing valuables, and leaving the home unlivable. However, since it was not completely destroyed, my family was forced to clean up and continue to seek shelter in a home without walls, which, despite its condition, was still better off than many other homes in Gaza.

<div>The bombing is also having a huge psychological impact on him as he can’t stop crying or control himself. Ibrahim can't live with these harsh conditions because of his condition and illness. He and the rest of the family have been displaced several times, from al-Zahraa to the ground of al-Aqsa university in Khan Younis and now to Rafah, and he has suffered psychological traumas during the displacement. We are extremely worried about what could happen if Israel now attacks Rafah.

<div>It is with deep devastation that we mourn the loss of Gabriel R. Trujillo. He was murdered on June 19th in Sonora, Mexico. He was driving through Mexico collecting plants for his Ph.D. research when he went missing and it took days for his fianceé and family to find him.

<div>Gabriel was and is beyond what words can express. He was brilliant, genuine, talented, adventurous, brave, generous, and above all unfailingly kind and loving to everyone. He was a son, brother, cherished family member, fiancé, and friend. He was a deeply spiritual Danzante and was reconnecting to his Indigenous Opata and Nahua ancestry.

<div>Our dear family member Prince was attacked in Brooklyn on Sunday afternoon, and went missing for many hours. A search party was immediately formed, and we are relieved to share that she is at a hospital. Thank you to angels Michael and Vanessa who found Prince and got her into an ambulance. And to everyone in our community who mobilized so quickly to help us find her.

Prince's Recovery Fund

<p>Michael, like many of us, has been severely affected by COVID-19. Him and his wife were unlawfully evicted from their apartment in September, forcing them to live on the streets.

<p>Recently, Michael and his wife have been separated due to her health conditions. She is now in a hospital in Fresno- Michael is hopeful she will survive, although unlikely. <br /><br />This morning my partner and I prepared to bring Michael to Fresno to be near his wife in her time of need. But, when we went to pick him up, he explained to us that although he was excited to see his wife, we could not go anymore. <br />A pair of untrustworthy people stole Michael’s phone, wallet, and took out the only money he had.<br /><br />After multiple run-ins with unfortunate circumstances &amp; individuals with wicked ulterior motives, our friend is feeling a sense hopelessness in society. Michael is soulful, giving, &amp; honest as can be- he’s a good dude. <br />I’m talking about giving your last $20 to a young couple because you thought they were hungrier than you type of good dude. <br /><br />Michael deserves blessings!!! Help Michael Reunite With His Lover

I am a transgender Female (Male to Female) and I am asking for some help in achieving the necessary funds for my Confirmation surgery. I am at last very happy Living my life in the Female body and spirit that I have envisioned for nearly 73 years. Since the age of 5 I have known that I was female inside! But it had to remain a secret because I could not see how I could be the real me, and I did not know exactly what was happening to me. There were many years of hiding and shame. In Sept of 2012 I found the courage, and strength to live my dreams. I started living full time as Briana in September 2012. I have completed my pre-op evaluation and I have met with Dr McGinn in New Hope,PA in July 2014, and that went well. All I need now is roughly $65,000. This will take care of the surgery and required hair removal and other needed items and travel. I had planned to work and earn my needed money and I found a job in January 2014, but they fired me in an hour of my reporting for work. Three companies were involved in this act 1. First Energy 2.Randstad Technologies 3. Pontoon Solutions. I have filed Complaints with EEOC but who knows when or if I will get vindication for this or not. So, I am forced to Ask for help. Trust me asking for help is not easy for me.<br />My transition, i've been waiting so very long for and i can't possibly express how truely content and happy I am. I am finally taking this Hugh step of Confirming the body for the person that i was always meant to be! For years I was traveling to Shriner's Hospital for Children in Greenville, South Carolina, a two and half hour trip from my home, in order to receive medical care. Because I am undocumented and no longer a minor I no longer have access to the medical help I received before. <br /><br />I have been living in the United States since I was 11 months old and have been educated here for 13 years. My parents, while undocumented, pay taxes yet I am still unable to receive government help.
