Their precious 1-year-old son, Liam, started showing concerning symptoms just 10 days ago when his cheek swelled up. Initially, a doctor thought it was an infection and prescribed antibiotics. However, over the next week, the swelling worsened dramatically. Worried sick, Alie rushed Liam to the hospital last Tuesday. In no time, Los Robles Hospital arranged an emergency ambulance to rush Liam to UCLA Children’s Hospital due to the severity of his condition.

<div>At UCLA, Liam has been through a whirlwind of tests, including an MRI, multiple CT scans, and a biopsy. Today, the doctors delivered the harrowing news: Liam has Nuroblastoma Cancer that has spread like wildfire through his tiny body. This news has left us devastated, but it has also ignited a fierce determination in us to fight for the beautiful life Liam deserves to live.

<div>Liam is the light of Alie and Jony’s life. His laughter melts hearts, his spirit is unbreakable, and he has so much life ahead of him. We are now standing at the threshold of a grueling battle against time and this vicious disease, ready to move mountains to bring health back to Liam.

The doctors told us tonight that it's not Sarcoma, but Stage 4 Neuroblastoma, a rare kind of cancer that Liam is fighting. He's going to start chemotherapy on Thursday, going through five sessions before hopefully coming back home next week. Your help has been like a giant hug during a scary time. Alie told me how thankful she feels for all the love and support you've all shown. She asks that you keep Liam in your thoughts and prayers.
