My name is Caris, and I’m reaching out for help during one of the most challenging seasons of my life. Over the past two years, I have been struggling with ongoing health issues that have significantly impacted my daily life. What began as unexplained facial swelling has led to countless doctor appointments, testing, specialist visits, and mounting medical expenses. Despite seeking answers from medical professionals, I am still searching for a clear diagnosis and effective treatment plan. Recently, my symptoms have become even more concerning. I have experienced increasing shortness of breath, persistent breathing difficulties, and overwhelming fatigue that leaves me with very little energy to get through each day. Simple activities that I once took for granted have become difficult and exhausting. My doctors prescribed an inhaler to help manage my breathing symptoms, but even after insurance, the cost was significant. As a wife, mother, and teacher, asking for help is not easy. I am accustomed to caring for others, but right now I find myself in a position where I need support from my community. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will help cover prescription inhalers.
