<div>UPDATE 2/5/2025:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Ron had a heart attack the night of Jan 29th, requiring resuscitation three times. He was rushed to the Huntington Memorial Hospital, where they were able to put a stent in and put him on a ventilator. Incredibly, he has managed to be weaned off the ventilator, and then and now is breathing on his own. We are so very grateful for all the support you have provided up to now and your ongoing support with this new issue. Please keep Ron and his family in your thoughts and prayers as this has been an incredibly tough process for them all.

<div>I am fundraising for our long-time Bee, <strong>Ron, and my friend</strong>. Many of you will know him as the IT guy or the fix-it guy at work.

</div>
<div>I'm Stella Dearing, and I live in SCV near Los Angeles. I know Ron from work. He and his girlfriend lost their home in the Eaton fire on the night of 1/7/2025. <strong>Losing all your worldly belongings is upsetting and expensive.</strong> They are going to need a place to stay, short-term rental funds, new furniture, and new clothes. I want to set up this GoFundMe to help them out as much as possible. We will use the funds to pay for short-term rentals, furniture, and personal goods that were lost in the fire.

<div>Today, I am a proud Ukrainian. While my family came to the United States in 1991, I was born in Chernivtsi, Ukraine in 1983. Ukrainians are proud and brave people who deserve our help in their time of need. This unjust attack on Ukraine and humanity at large is devastating and the Ukrainian people need our support. <strong>Our family is starting this fund to help provide immediate support and we will be matching up to $3 million dollars.</strong>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>While we are witnessing the bravery of Ukrainians, we are also bearing witness to the unimaginable burden of those who have chosen safety. Countless amounts of people have left everything they know and love behind to seek refuge. With nothing but what they could carry, these Ukrainian refugees are in need of housing and supplies right away.
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>Through GoFundMe.org, this fundraiser will provide an immediate impact on refugee and humanitarian aid efforts. The fund will benefit Flexport.org and Airbnb.org, two organizations who are actively on the ground providing immediate help to those who need it most.

<div>We need your support to help Ukrainians. As a community, we are aiming to raise $30 million dollars. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference in the lives of those affected. <strong>Please join us today by donating and sharing this fundraiser with your friends, family, and communities. </strong>We stand with Ukraine.

<div><strong><em>About Airbnb.org</em></strong>
</div>
<div><em>Airbnb.org is a nonprofit organization dedicated to facilitating temporary stays for people in times of crisis around the world. Airbnb.org operates independently and leverages Airbnb, Inc.’s technology, services, and other resources at no charge to carry out Airbnb.org’s charitable purpose. The inspiration for Airbnb.org began in 2012 with a single host named Shell who opened up her home to people impacted by Hurricane Sandy. This sparked a movement and marked the beginning of a program that allows Hosts on Airbnb to provide stays for people in times of need. Since then, the program has evolved to focus on emergency response and to help provide stays to evacuees, relief workers, refugees, asylum seekers, and most recently, frontline workers fighting the spread of COVID-19. Since then, Hosts have offered to open up their homes and helped provide accommodations to 100,000 people in times of need. Airbnb.org is a separate and independent entity from Airbnb, Inc. Airbnb, Inc. does not charge service fees for Airbnb.org supported stays on its platform.</em>

<div>Hello lovely humans, Mike here... I am still processing this massive loss, so my dear friends Jordan, Kelsey, and Devin helped me write this. I am doing the best I can keep up with communication and express my needs to harness all the support that has been offered. Thank you, I love you.

<div>"Our dear friend, Mike Dempsey, lost his home during the devastating Marshall Fires that swept through the town of Superior on December 30th 2021 (The address was: 207 W William St Superior, CO). He was able to escape with his dog Lili and the clothes on his back. Rather than saving his own belongings, he left them behind and opted to spend his last remaining minutes by kicking down his neighbor's door to save their dog's life. This just shows that Mike truly is the most inherently selfless person we know. A true hero.
</div>
<div>He has dedicated his life and business to advocate for the arts. He still supports countless artists' careers and puts every artist on a pedestal. Now more than ever he needs our help, the help of the community, to put him back in the reflection he sees in us. As many of you know, in addition to being an art broker, Mike is also an art collector. His lifelong art collection was security for his future and his means to retirement. Obviously the artwork lost is irreplaceable. However, any and all donations will help. All funds will go directly towards helping Mike get back on his feet. He is grateful for donations in other forms; clothes, toiletries, art, and other home goods.
</div>
<div>Mike is currently staying at his parents house in Castle Rock, so if you don’t want to make the trek down there all clothing/household donations in Denver can be dropped off locally at Jordan Leonard &amp; Devin Miyazaki’s house. Please reach out on facebook to either of us to coordinate.

Michael Dempsey lost his home to Marshall Fire

On August 23, 2015, Kayce Chik was involved in a tragic car accident and did not survive. She had her furry family in the car with her: her two cats Rida and Rado and her precious pup Chulo. They have been missing since the accident. Kayce's family is desperate to bring them home. While we have many volunteers that have put in hours of searching, we still have not found them. . . tracking dogs have picked up their scent in the area, so we are very encouraged that they are out there. Time is critical and each day that passes makes this effort more difficult. We are in need of funds to purchase a trail cam (or two). . .we need laminated posters that will withstand the weather, we need food for the traps. We have professionals that have very generously offered their help, but they are far away from Loveland Ski area. . .we would like to contribute to gas and other essentials they need to continue helping. <br />At the suggestion of a couple of members of our Facebook volunteer group “All Paws Home for Kayce”, we are posting this GoFundMe in hopes that we can raise money to purchase the supplies we need. Any funds leftover will be contributed to a local rescue. <br />We appreciate the help and support of the community. . .in fact, we now have members all across the country! We are strong, we are determined, and we want to bring these pets home. . .for their owner Kayce, and for Kayce’s family. All contributions will be greatly appreciated. . . .thank you ~<br /><br />This news story was aired twice in the Denver area on CBS4.  Kudos to CBS4!  Link Below<br /><a href="http://denver.cbslocal.com/2015/09/03/volunteers-search-for-deadly-crash-victims-missing-pets-on-i-70/" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">http://denver.cbslocal.com/2015/09/03/volunteers-search-for-deadly-crash-victims-missing-pets-on-i-70/</a><br /><br />Below is the link to All Paws Home For Kayce Facebook page.....please share!<br /><a href="https://www.facebook.com/groups/886320554755533/?ref=br_tf"><a href="https://www.facebook.com/groups/886320554755533/?ref=br_tf" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://www.facebook.com/groups/886320554755533/?ref=br_tf</a><br /><br /><br />Link to Imgur....telling the story with pics from start to current<br /><br />                  <a href="http://imgur.com/a/sDm7u" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">http://imgur.com/a/sDm7u</a><br /><br /><br />Link to video of Rado and Rida reunion<br /><br />                   <a href="https://youtu.be/YWqmTkaCbr4" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://youtu.be/YWqmTkaCbr4</a><br /><br /><br /></a>
