<div>Hi, my name is Steve. I have fallen on some really hard times. I'm not used to asking for help, so this is very hard for me. But life is different now; I have a 12-year-old son.

<div>Eight years ago, I had a stroke in my left eye (NAION), causing blindness in that eye. At the end of last year, my business of almost ten years unexpectedly closed its doors for good, resulting in debt and loss of income. At the beginning of the year, I suffered a stroke in my right eye (NAION), which took away most of my vision on that side and has left me legally blind. This has been the most difficult time in my life. Having lost most of my vision, I have currently lost a huge part of my independence and ability to provide. I am now confronted with the challenge of learning how to navigate life with this disability.

I had to get all my things and move out with no place to go. Moving expenses and losing my care taking job set me back. <div>My name is Adam Eastwood, and I live in Los Angeles and work with my good friend <strong>Laura Bennett (LB)</strong>, who, like so many others in Altadena and elsewhere in Southern California, has lost her home in the devastating fires which started on January 7th. Laura was fortunate enough to evacuate with a few items but has essentially lost everything except her car; everything else was in the house. Laura is a very self-sufficient person with an extremely solid work ethic, but the process of filing insurance claims and working while finding temporary housing is extremely challenging. Any amount of assistance will be extremely helpful as she works to pick up the pieces.<strong> </strong>

<div>While returning from a funeral for his son's girlfriend's mom, he was on a ledge at Galaxy Park in Newport that gave out. Nick fell 75 feet off of Dover Cliff and is lucky to be alive. He has a fractured T11 vertebrate in his back, torn ligaments in his right arm, and his bruised up from his ankle to his ears.

<div>Unfortunately, his insurance ran out at the beginning of the month. He is self employed, can barely pay people to cover him during his recovery, has to pay cash for all of his current and future doctor visits now, and will have to eventually pay for that helicopter and hospital stay. Needless to say, he's not in a good spot at all but he's very lucky to be alive.

Help Nick Sjobeck Heal After Terrible Fall

<div>About a month ago, Cameron unexpectedly lost his life partner, Courtney, after being together for over eight years. All utilities were in her name, so at the request of her family, those accounts need to be closed and transferred to Cameron, which on top of paying off the amount owed, he needs to pay deposits to change them over to him. This also means moving forward he now has to pay all utilities, rent and the care of their two dogs, Jacks and Stella on his own instead of the 50/50 split he shared with Courtney. The lease for the apartment they shared is up in January and after that, he will need to move to a place he can afford as a now single income household. He also will not get back the full security deposit, as they were on the lease 50/50. So we have decided to start a separate GoFundMe to fully go to Cameron to allow him to grieve without the stress of unexpectedly doubled finances while he tries to figure out the next steps as he will not receive any help from the other GoFundMe. We hope this can help Cameron, Jacks and Stella be stress free and comfortable as they try to navigate life without her.

<div> Chances are, if you have ever met Casey, you became fast friends. You also know he would never ask for anything in return. Having been in a similar position and knowing so many would want to help, I wanted to start this fund and try to take one potential concern off the table.

<div>Over the past three years Jodi and Casey have been through so much. From having to flee and relocate due to the Paradise fire, to spending the last 18 months unable to work due to COVID restrictions on live events. Unfortunately these past few weeks have presented a new challenge. While on his first work trip since early 2020, Casey started to feel intense back &amp; rib pain. After a ton of tests Casey was diagnosed with Stage 2 Multiple Myeloma as the disease had spread to vertebrae and ribs. Casey has an uphill battle over the next few months to undergo treatment (radiation, chemotherapy, and a stem cell transplant). The doctors are confident they will be able to get this under control, but Casey is gonna have to sit on the sidelines for a few months and focus on healing.   Everyone in Flogging Molly has been incredibly supportive of Casey allowing him to focus on his health.

#WendyWillWin<br /><br />If you have lived in Orange, been part of the local music scene or had a wedding or event locally, you probably know Wendy Herckt. Born, raised and living life in Orange, Wendy loves her community. She adores bringing events to life for mom's-to-be or a bride and groom. Knowing Wendy means you are part of her family.  She is a daughter, an aunt, a niece, a lover, a granddaughter, a sister, a friend, and a caring motherly figure to her extensive network of friends. To know Wendy is to be loved by Wendy.<br /><br />Wendy is also fighting breast cancer. While recovering from a knee replacement surgery, Wendy was diagnosed with breast cancer. More specifically, Triple Positive Invasive Ductile Carcinoma (ER+ &amp; PR+ &amp; HER2+). Immediately she was propelled into the world of doctors, scans, labs, and extensive appointments. Recovering from knee replacement and facing a long and arduous battle against cancer.<br /><br />For anyone facing such adversity, both knee replacement and breast cancer, it can overwhelm even the strongest person. But it doesn't end there. Very early in her battle to expel the cancer from her body, Wendy lost her job. Wendy is now without a job and without her standard income. State disability is limited and does not cover all her expenses. Keeping her insurance in mid treatment is CRITICAL to her life which also means she must pay the cobra insurance premium or face cancellation. An expense of over $700 per month. She cannot risk lapsing her insurance. Her life depends on keeping her team of care providers.<br /><br />The cost associated with living, eating healthy and battling a life threatening illness is all consuming.  Wendy's journey will consist of the following:<br /><br />1) 6 total rounds of chemo. Our dear friend Efrain Davis spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in ICU. He went  unconscious with having a seizure from a rib wound that punctured his loung and filled up with blood. Efrain has also developed a blood clot so his stay in the hospital is unknown how long. Now they’ve found clotting in his lungs so he has to go into another surgery. He suffered this injury doing what he loves to do skateboarding and tried his best for a week working to support his family tattooing and ended up in the hospital.Efrain would never ask for help but he would offer the shirt off his back to help you.
