<div>On March 9, 2025, our beloved Tammy Blanton tragically passed away in a car accident caused by a drunk driver—right in front of her daughter, Sophia Blanton. In a single heartbreaking moment, Sophia lost not only her mother but also her sense of stability and the life they had built together.

<div>Tammy was a beloved art teacher for twenty years, known for her creativity, kindness, and passion for the arts. She found joy in creating, hunting for shark teeth, and making sea glass trees—always alongside her beloved daughter, Sophia. As a devoted single mother, Tammy and Sophia shared an unbreakable bond, built on love, creativity, and adventure. Her artistic spirit came to life at her studio, Beach Happy Market in Ocean Isle Beach, NC, where she inspired countless others with her talent and passion.

<div>On Wednesday, July 17th Noble suffered traumatic injuries when he fell approximately 30 ft while working on a tree stand. He suffered cervical fractures to his neck and had surgery that same evening. He is currently in ICU sedated and on a ventilator. With his spinal cord injury we don’t know what the future holds and how much function he will regain during the healing process.

<div>Noble is a wonderful father, husband, son and friend to many. He loves his family and they are his whole world. He’s a father to two precious boys that look up to him. Noble is a hardworking and active man between his family, his business, friends, hunting and fishing.

<font color="#333333"><span>Mary was a kind, fun, and strong person who was taken too soon. She was a loving wife, a daughter and a wonderful sister to her family and her extended family. She battled medical problems the last few years and when she finally got a liver to save her life the surgery went poorly and it took her life. No one planned for this so the gofundme is to help with the funeral and memorial to remember her life. Mary loved to laugh and she made that apparent everyday and the plan is to use this money to give her a service that will let everyone remember her that way in this time of sadness. A donation will help immensely even just thoughts and prayers for her family and loving husband Andrew whom the money will go to in order to plan the funeral.<br /></span></font>

I never thought in a million years id be typing this. My family, my son, is facing the longest hardest road we ever had to endure. I am not one to ask for help, but now we need it more than ever. My 14 year old son was diagnosed with a very, very rare stomach cancer. It is advanced, and already spread to his liver and intestines. There is no cure for this specific cancer. (Desmoplastic small round cell tumors) We are trying the best treatments that we can for him! I am a single mom of 3 boys, who are 16, 14, and 8 years old. I am no longer working due to being my sons full time caregiver. We are facing many unexpected expenses from traveling to and from the hospital, long hospital stays, medication expenses not covered by insurance, as well as bills piling up at home, and everything in between. <div>On Thursday, March 17, 2022, our friend and coworker Greg Thomas was involved in a tragic automobile accident as he headed from his home in Wendell to work in Raleigh at Comfort Monster Heating &amp; Air. For several days Greg was missing while police, search and rescue teams, and his friends and family all searched tirelessly for him, thinking he may have been in an accident due to severe weather and flash flooding that occurred Thursday morning. The scene of the wreck was discovered late Sunday evening, and our worst fears were confirmed as we learned that Greg had not survived the crash.

<div>At Comfort Monster Heating &amp; Air, we consider our team members and their families a part of our larger family, and are working to continue taking care of Greg's family through this difficult time. Comfort Monster will continue paying Greg's salary and benefits for the foreseeable future, and Greg's family will be the beneficiary of a life insurance policy provided by the company.

The tornado ripped right down our street and some of the worst damage is in my neighborhood.
