This is being conveyed with the heaviest of hearts. Hours prior to what would’ve been the 34th celebration, of the purest soul ever brought into this world….that precious being was instead, tragically stripped from the roots of our hearts. 

It would be impossible to count the number of hurting hearts that, skipped a sorrowful beat upon hearing of the unimaginable. 

Kiersten evoked a positive first, and lasting impression on everyone who was blessed enough to know and love  her.
 People were drawn to her captivating eyes, contagiously friendly smile, and her genuine tone.  
Her energy was among other things…fierce, but gentle, savage - but yet sensitive. Kiersten loved passionately and unapologetically. 

She possessed values, integrity, character, a moral compass, she had your back, and she could effortlessly &amp; continuously make you laugh- no matter what your mood. 

Kiersten was always thinking of others- from a “check in” text, to her utilizing her creative brain to make something special for you. 
She was adventurous, playful, free spirited, and was not fearsome of taking smart risks. 

She didn’t just exist, she lived. 

You would feel happier, extra confident, and more courageous just being in her presence. 

She made you feel you could do or be anything! 

Kiersten manifested her crafty nature &amp; great taste, paired with her ambition, drive, intelligence, and work ethic into her own small business- (ADCS Reserve-an acronym for her children). Piling on reasons to admire, adore, appreciate, emulate and love Kiersten. 

She encompassed all the qualities one could ever hope for in a daughter, a sibling, a partner, and a friend.

But most importantly……in a Mom 

Kiersten had an innate, natural ability to nurture, console, communicate, express affection &amp; acceptance, and promote individuality…..just a few more reasons why Kiersten was an especially unique Mom. 
It’s like she was destined to be a Mom, and she knew it, loved it, embraced, and rocked it. 

Kiersten unwillingly leaves behind 4 fragile hearts that call her Mom. 

They have been unfairly cheated out of being raised by a woman, who made the world a more joyous place just by being in it. 

Kiersten’s babies were her life, her everything, and they felt her unconditional love every day. 
 
Now their everyday is forever changed. 
Their holiday traditions will alter, their birthdays -forever void of the person who made their day extra special. Their mom’s birthday always being a reminder of the one she never got to celebrate.  Always dreaming of, but never getting in - that one last hug, kiss, I love you, or one last goodbye. 

It is physically painful to wrap our heads around what her babies, Audrina (14), Desare (12), Charlie (6), and Scarlett (5) are feeling, and trying to process at this time. 
There is comfort in knowing they are surrounded and protected by the immense love of family members and friends. 
Without a doubt, Kiersten's family will make whatever sacrifices necessary, to ensure that their needs are being met. As best they can in Kiersten's absence. Selflessness is admirable and commendable, but can mean forfeiting your own grief and healing,  to prioritize another's. 

As sympathetic, and sad as we may feel for the kids and all of Kiersten’s family, we also have the privilege of going back to living our own lives outside of theirs. 
They can never go back to the way it was, and the carefree, happy lives Kiersten created for them. 

All we can do right now is get Kiersten’s back, and provide whatever support her family needs to help hold them up. 

The overwhelming waves of emotion, responsibility, pressure, and various forms of stress can drown grieving loved ones. The sudden, unexpected financial burden alone can be devastating.
This Go Fund Me is being set up anticipative of alleviating any of the financial stresses weighted upon the shoulders of Kiersten’s family. 

The family is so very grateful for any donations that will help cover funeral expenses, and to assist with any other family expenses.

My friend Toms post<br /><br />On August 28th, I passed out and my head slammed into the bottom sliding track to our sliding door. When I came to - I realized I could not feel or move my body and because of being on blood thinners - bleeding was a big concern.<br /><br />I was brought to Umass by ambulance and thru testing they discovered I broke vertebrae in my neck causing paralysis. I spent 3 weeks @ Umass in and out of ICU to get me stable before they could release me to Spaulding Rehab. At Spaulding I have spent the last 3+ weeks in Rehab to begin my rehabilitation and to get me on the path to go home. I know it is going to be a long road and want to thank my family and friends for their support and Love!<br /><br />Times like these make you realize how important your support system is. So I have chosen to put this on Facebook for those people who may not have heard.<br /><br />Remember to live and love your life to the fullest....because you just never know what life is going to throw your way!<br /><br />This is the most difficult thing I have ever endured in my life and because my goal is to walk, I will do everything I can to get there.<br /><br />In order for Tom to come home and begin his life again there are many changes that have to be made to his home. Unfortunately there is no funding by the State in order to do this. Grant money can take years and we want him home sooner vs later. Please help get this family in one place

<strong>Eliza's Journey</strong><br />Eliza is my 20 year old amazing daughter.  In September 2014, at age 17, she was diagnosed with stage IV Neuroblastoma.  After a grueling 16 months of treatment, Eliza was deemed to have no evidence of disease.  We were thrilled. <br /><br /><img class="not-resizable" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/20995108_1496802596.9766_funddescription.jpg" alt="" width="100%" /><strong>Ringing the bell at the end of radiation treatment</strong><br /><br />After treatment and recovery,  Eliza worked very hard to finish her high school degree, apply to and prepare for college.  <br /><br /><img class="not-resizable" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/20995108_1496805578.6174_funddescription.jpg" alt="" width="100%" /><strong>Cousins</strong><br /><br />Eliza was quickly accepted to several colleges, including her number 1 college The New School (a film school), and planned to matriculate in September, 2017. Her scans were clear, and we had no idea that if a relapse was to occur, it would happen within one to two years.  <br /><br />On April 7, 2017, Eliza awoke in terrible pain.  By Sunday the 9th, we learned her cancer had returned.  On Monday the 10th we learned that relapsed stage IV Neuroblastoma is not curable. <br /><br />Eliza is currently receiving treatment to relieve her pain and slow down the progression of this terrible disease.  We are focusing on making the time she has left with us as meaningful to her and enjoyable as possible.  <br /><br /><strong>Eliza's Dream</strong><br />Eliza has two main passions: writing and traveling.  Our hope for this Gofundme page is to raise funds to enable her to realize her dreams:<br /><br /><strong><em>Writing mentors:</em> </strong>Eliza has an unending passion for writing.  As she wrote in her college essay,<em> <br /><br />"In my darkest hours, writing helped keep me sane, whether it was outlining a screenplay, writing in my journal or writing a humorous blog to let my friends and family know I was okay. "</em><br /><br />Eliza has already written several novels, poems, blogs and screenplays, and has so much more she wants to write.  <br /><br />Too help her realize her dream, we are looking into writing workshops for her to attend  (Mom and Amanda will tag along if they are not in Massachusetts). We just re-arranged our house so Eliza can have her own writing studio (currently a work in progress).<br /><br />More exciting, Eliza has the opportunity to work with two mentors from Bentley University who will help her refine her writing skills and edit her work, with the ultimate goal of publishing.<br /><br /><strong><em>Travel:</em> </strong> For her entire life, Eliza has wanted to travel and experience the world. This has now become even more important. She currently has two trips she would like to take:<br /><br /><em>* Israel:</em> Our wonderful cousins in Israel have invited our family (Eliza, her 16 yr old sister Amanda and me) to visit them in Israel in July, 2017. Eliza's doctors have given her permission to travel and are encouraging us to go.
