<div>At the beginning of August, our family’s world changed when my son-in-law, Rian Bell, was diagnosed with advanced localized Rectal Adenocarcinoma. He’s starting intensive treatment at Penn Medicine in Philadelphia—almost 3 hours from home—every single day for months.
</div>

<div>Rian will be unable to work during this time, and my daughter, Kristy, will also be missing work to care for him and get him to treatments. On top of the emotional toll, the financial strain is immense—bills, food, extended hospital stays, gas, tolls, parking, and care expenses are adding up quickly.

<div>Rian is a proud Marine veteran, Derry Township police officer, and an incredible dad to Nathan (17), Jacob (16), and Alaina (11). He’s the man who works on cars with his boys, takes the kids snowboarding, explores National Parks, and cherishes time with his family.

<div>Macy, Sean and their children (Bentley, Hailey, Brenlee, Emerson and Everett) have lost their home and everything they own to a house fire last night. Thankfully, Macy, Sean and all three boys made it out with minimal injury but unfortunately both girls are in the PICU of Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Most importantly, we are asking for prayers for their recovery.

<div>I’ve started this GoFund me in hopes of raising money to relieve the costs and stress of building their lives back from nothing and to provide financial support for their expected travels back and forth to the hospital (gas, food, housing, etc.)

<div>I am also asking for clothing donations as they have nothing left. Below are the sizes that each family member wears. If you are looking to get rid of anything that may help them, please consider donating. Even though material items are the least of their worries, they will still need these essentials to live day to day.

Aid for the Seigh Family's Journey to Recovery

On July 18th 2018 Cortney Trace Long (Burkett), a vibrant, loving, healthy, full of life young woman received the worse news of her life. She was told she was diagnosed with HER2-Positive Breast Cancer which is more aggressive than other forms of breast cancer. She received this horrible news 2 days before her and her husband Barrett were scheduled to leave for a 2 week trip down the whole coast of California to celebrate their 5 year wedding anniversary. Doctors informed Cortney that she wouldn’t be able to do this trip which her and Barrett had been planning for almost a year. Due to the aggressive nature of this cancer, surgery was scheduled immediately for Thursday August 2nd. Cortney will need to have a full Mastectomy followed by extensive Chemotherapy for about a year. This life altering news will not only cause emotional and physical scars but a tremendous financial burden to Cortney and Barrett as well. Cortney would never ask anyone for financial help. She is very self sufficient and has been all her life. But we, her family are asking for something she would never ask for. We are asking all our friends, family, and anyone who has a sympathetic ear to please help to relieve the financial burden that this horrific medical journey will take them on. We are hoping and praying that one year from now, Cortney will receive the news that she is cancer free, and debt free and that her and Barrett will then be able to finally go on an amazing trip to celebrate their 5 year Anniversary.
