<div>Carolina Villalpando was visiting family in Mexico late last year when she received unexpected news: she had been diagnosed with thyroid cancer. What was meant to be a joyful trip quickly turned into a series of doctor visits, tests, and ultimately surgery.

<div>Carolina faced the situation with strength and determination, moving forward with the necessary procedures and paying for the first stage of treatment out of pocket. In total, she has already spent more than $10,000 on medical care so she could begin treatment right away.

<div>After surgery, her doctors recommended an additional step—radioactive iodine therapy—to help ensure a full recovery and reduce the risk of the cancer returning. This treatment will be completed in Mexico, where Carolina has already been receiving care.
</div>
<div>This fundraiser is to help Carolina cover the cost of this final stage of treatment so she can focus on healing and getting back to her normal life.

<div>It is with deep pain and a heavy heart that we share with you the news of the passing of Francisco David Escatell. If you knew David, you knew how genuine he was, and you'll have at least a memory or two of how he could lift your spirits. If you ever shared a few words with him, he was sure to have you smiling or outright laughing along with him. He was kind, thoughtful, and caring. He was genuine, and had a good heart, and he was always looking to see how he could help out or be of service to those he loved and anyone surrounding him. Laughter would often follow his words, he spoke true and with passion.

<div>He was very ambitious. David had a world full of dreams, goals and aspirations waiting to be accomplished, fulfilled, and lived, for himself, and for the most important people in his life, his family. He leaves behind his son, 16 month old Esmani Escatell, and the family he grew up with and has always been there for including the mother of his child, his brother and sisters, mom and dad, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and beyond.

<div>David was a family man, though young, only 22 years old, he worked hard to provide for his son and his family. As you may know, funeral expenses are a big financial burden on anybody affected, and being so young, nobody was prepared for this unexpected loss. We reach out to you humbly asking for any help whatsoever, so we may honor David with a modest and respectful service and burial, and to help his family rebuild the broken pieces of this tragic loss. They say raising a child takes a community, and we are calling on the community to help out a family mourning the loss of their son, their brother, and their father. All proceeds will go directly to the Escatell family to cover funeral services and costs, fees, and every donation makes a difference.

Support for Francisco David Escatell's Funeral

<div>Our dearest Brian passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 21st 2021. He was an amazing husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He is survived by his wonderful wife, Diana, his son Brian Jr. and had been expecting a baby girl due next spring. He is also survived by his mother, Sylvia, and his sisters, Tracy and Maureen, along with his extended family and many friends.

<div>Brian devoted himself to his family and friends and was loved by everyone. Brian had many hobbies that included camping, fishing and hunting. But most of all, he enjoyed social gatherings with family and friends.
</div>

<div>Brian was friendly, kind and sincere. He was someone who would always help those in need. He was a great man and will forever be missed, but never forgotten.
</div>

</div>
<div>Services for Brian are unknown at this time, and will be determined and announced at a later date.
</div>
