<div>Hello my name is Jillian and I’m Hennessy’s mom. Since April 2022 Hennessy has been struggling with stomach issues. Due to her older brothers life threatening injuries her stomach issues took a back seat but her pain did not. She endured months of constant pain, emergency room visits, scans and every test possible until July when doctors determined that her gallbladder needed to be removed. We were so optimistic that we had found the culprit at last! Unfortunately 2 months later the pain came back and has not left. Our next step is a procedure called Endoscopy, it’s a quick process but still requires anesthesia. I just received the astonishing news that insurance is only covering a portion of this procedure and did not cover what I had anticipated for the gallbladder removal in July. I am mortified to even ask for help assistance but I do not receive child support or any other financial aid from her father and with the economic changes my business is down 75%. Hennessy is a beautiful, kind and intelligent girl. This constant pain has dimmed the light of her sweet spirit and the fear of the unknown is crippling to me and her family. <div><strong>WHAT WOULD D DO?!</strong> is a question that we've joked about, and by some measure, is meant to remind people to live their best lives - to enjoy friends, food, adventure, family and all that comes with the greatest joys in life.

<div>Danielle is generous to a fault, often putting other people's needs above her own, and that's a role she's very comfortable with. She pours her heart and soul into everything she does and loves with a ferocity that is unparalleled in most people and rarely expects anything in return.
</div>

<div>Just before Thanksgiving, Danielle went in for some tests to address some ongoing issues that included random aches and pains and fatigue that she couldn't shake that was draining her battery faster than she could recharge. During a standard stress test, the doctor determined that there could be some irregularity with her heart and ordered immediate rest and further testing. As you know, Danielle's first thought was on the dozens of people she was entertaining at her annual Turkey day feast and her beloved family and friends, so she scheduled an appointment for Wednesday of this week. It was a shock to all, but we were hopeful for an easy answer. Sadly that was not the case, and it was determined that there was a 99% blockage in a sensitive area of the heart, requiring immediate open-heart surgery to repair and bypass.

<div>While we are relieved beyond measure that the surgery is behind her and that it went well, Danielle's long road to recovery has only just begun. She is still in ICU and will be at Hoag hospital for the remainder of the week, and will then move into a family member's home to start her months-long recovery. Danielle is one of the strongest people I know and will push herself to get up and back at it as soon as possible, but it will take time. And abundant resources. Sadly, her event business will cease during this time, as it did during the extended covid shutdown.

<div>Many of you have asked, "What can we do?", "Can I send flowers?", When can we visit?" and I understand the helpless feeling. Please know she is under the best possible care, with her loving family supporting her, and she is fighting her way back. And although she isn't always able to respond, she does see your messages and appreciates all of the love and prayers coming her way.

<div>For those I don't know, I'll end by sharing a gift that Danielle bestowed upon me when we first met. I was brand new to Orange County, fresh from New York, and took on the task of producing a charity gala at the St. Regis the very first day I arrived on the west coast. As the Director of Catering, Danielle welcomed me as a friend and treated me as a family member before too long. She opened up her vast Rolodex and recruited people to help, inspiring them to serve and contribute while using her tremendous skills and creative talent to propel the event to great success. And since then, I've seen her do the same for hundreds of organizations, raising millions of dollars and curating an extraordinary array of people to follow her lead to living a life of significance and profound purpose. And we became "sisters by choice" along the way.

Recovery fund for Danielle Staffieri

<div>On Monday, March 7th 2022 at approximately 0830 hours, Josh and Jeremy Page were involved in a major traffic collision at the corner of Newland and Yorktown in the City of Huntington Beach. A Senior at Edison High School in Huntington Beach, Josh Page tragically lost his life upon impact. His brother, a Sophomore at Edison High School, Jeremy Page was transported to a local trauma hospital where he later passed away.

<div>As you can imagine, the Page family has had their entire world flipped turned upside down. John and Shaya Page lost their two youngest sons and Jovanni lost his two younger brothers and his best friends.

The Edison High School Wrestling Team along with the Surf City Wrestling Club is trying to help assist the Page family in anyway possible. <div>Just a little update for everyone, I came out of surgery monday morning, had a cage put in from my t1 to L3, due to a compression/burst fracture, had broken ribs, broken ankle and luckily just minor road rash to my wrist area. I need to have  catheter in at all times because there is no feeling in my entire pelvis area. I finally got slight bit of feeling  and mobility back in my left leg as of Wednesday.

<div>As of today. My legs are still mostly paralyzed, but firing back online. I can make small movements with my right ankle,  and my right quad has some good strength but everything else is off line. Left leg is deprived of alot of sensation but i have all motor function of it.

<div>First round of physical therapy today i was able to take my first 2 steps in a walker! After pt, I wandered around the hospital for a few hours by myself in a wheel chair,  came back to do more physical therapy and pushed myself to through my breaking points to actually be able to walk myself around my room using the walker!!

<div>The drs are all amazed by my progress and are just as enthusiastic as i am to keep pushing and staying positive!

This precious baby boy woke up on Sunday, November 11th not feeling so good. He was taken to the ER by his mom, Evelyn, and dad, Brian. In the blink of an eye, he was rushed to ICU and Evelyn and Brian were told that they're 1 year old son was experiencing liver failure. They don't know how or why this happened but it did. And unfortunately, our little warrior earned his wings last night and is now dancing to Cardi B and shaking his booty in Heaven. Words cannot express the devastation their family is going through right now and I am confident that you have such a big heart you will donate to help this amazing family.
