<div>Early on Christmas Eve, my beloved partner Demetrius "Pree" Avie and father of Laila, Devin, and our baby, Derrick, was shot and badly wounded. He was dropped off at a local hospital where he was on life support and then air-lifted to Memorial Medical Center in Modesto. 
</div>

<div>Pree is a fighter and is steadily improving after surgery, although he continues to battle setbacks and internal bleeding. He may require additional interventions, including support to overcome the use of his arm and hand, as well as the trauma that comes with being a victim of violent crime. At this time, we don't know who did this and are solely focused on Pree's health and recovery.

<div>I am Pree's sole-caregiver as he recovers, and am so grateful for any funds that can be used to support us and our children as he fights to regain his health.

<div>Many of you may know that Pree works as a care-giver, and now he needs care for himself and our family. Your support means the world to us.

<div>I'm a father of three and my old daughter starting the year with a medical crisis. Alexia is only 23 years old, born with one kidney, and diagnosed with end-stage kidney failure in her teenage years has fought this battle this far. Currently, she is going through daily 10-hour-long kidney dialysis with this high-end medical treatment she can make it through each day much stronger. Unfortunately, this comes at a high cost where the family is struggling to make ends meet for her kidney dialysis treatment. For 2023, I would love to elevate Alexia's health and keep fighting!
