She was alone, scared, and ignored by most passengers. But that day, I saw her and I couldn’t leave her behind. Emmie's, short for MTA, story quickly went viral, capturing hearts around the world and reminding us all what it means to care, to act, and to help the voiceless. Now, Emmie’s journey is just the beginning.
