<div>My dear friend Rena Jones, who many of you know and love, has had an incredibly difficult past few months. Unforeseen circumstances have forced them to need to suddenly move, and the situation has become overwhelming both emotionally and financially.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Earlier this year, shortly after moving into their own apartment, Rena was hit by a car in Denver. Navigating the aftermath has been a long legal battle with no quick resolution in sight. Just last week, a close friend who had been staying with Rena tragically passed away in their apartment. As you can imagine, this has made living there emotionally unbearable.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Rena is now facing relocation fees for breaking their lease so they can move somewhere more stable for their mental health. While they are one of the toughest people I know, sometimes even the strongest among us need a little support.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I’m hoping to raise $2,000 to help cover these unexpected moving costs and ease some of the stress during this transition. If you can donate $1, $5, $20, or anything at all, it truly makes a difference.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Rena would do anything for the people they love, and now we have a chance to show up for them in the same way. Thank you so much for any help you can give.

<div>Rod…Rod Dawg…Rodney…Runutdu… Rodney David Taitano sadly took his last breath at the very young age of 57. He had kidney disease and an aggressive form of dementia, which ultimately cut his life short.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Rod was the coolest… he’s the youngest of 5 kids that were raised by an amazing single mom that moved mountains for them.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Rod was full of life, a go-getter from an early age. He loved music and going to concerts, sat front row and smashed in mosh pits, and was a true foodie. He was a carpenter journeyman side-by-side with his uncles and cousins, a crane operator, Harley Davidson mechanic, and a construction salesman.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>He has 3 kids and 2 granddaughters that he loves unconditionally. I’m sure baby Christian, who was born sleeping, welcomed Rod with open arms!!

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Rod was raised by his mom but amongst her 15 siblings. The siblings were close, which meant us first cousins were closer. Our weekends weren’t filled with sports games or practice but with family gatherings, whether planned or not… from someone’s house, to Arco Park where it was just our family, to traveling Novenas, and anywhere in between. We are a tight family with us cousins having an unbreakable bond regardless of time spent apart.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>As we navigate this painful time, <strong>we are raising funds to cover the funeral and memorial expenses so we can honor Rod in the way that he lovingly deserves.</strong> Our goal is $10,000, which will help with:

</div>

<div>* Funeral service and cremation costs

</div>

<div>* Memorial arrangements

</div>

<div>* Transportation and related costs.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Any contribution, no matter the size, is deeply appreciated. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this campaign would mean the world to us. <strong>Thank you for helping us give Rod a farewell surrounded by love!</strong>

</div>

Please help us give Rod a loving farewell!

<div>To know George “Georgie” Benavente was to love him… his loud, fun, playful, “sexy as ever” full of himself, loving personality made strangers immediately feel like family and made family feel like he loved them most!!

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>In August he had a brain bleed which later uncovered a tumor. Within 2wks he had his first appointment with the Mayo Clinic and received a scary preliminary diagnosis of Glioblastoma. The doctors were hopeful and planned to treat it aggressively to give him the best fighting chance possible. On Tuesday, Dec 3rd, he had a biopsy where everything went as planned and he woke up in recovery feeling great. He ate like a king that night and shoo’d Chantel, his wife of 27yrs, out of the hospital so she can rest. Wednesday was encouraging, Georgie walked out of the hospital and to the hotel hand-in-hand with Chantel. Thursday started great, Georgie walked Memphis, their loving couch potato American Bully, took the work truck in for service then walked a short distance home. At 3pm things took a devastating turn and Georgie had stroke like symptoms and lost consciousness. He was rushed to the hospital where Chantel received the agonizing news that Georgie’s brain had hemorrhaged around the brain stem and there was nothing doctors could do to reverse the damage. He was moved to ICU where he was surrounded by his wife &amp; kids, family, and friends; at 1:29pm on December 6th Georgie passed peacefully with Chantel hugging him and his kids holding his hand.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>To know Georgie is to be devastated by his passing. He lived life for his wife and kids…he worked hard so they could play harder!

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>In honoring his life and his dedication to his family we would like to help Chantel with the financial burden that now lies solely on her shoulders. Contributions will go directly to Chantel to help with services, unexpected financial cost, and to help lessen the burden as she finds her new norm.

</div>

</div>

<div>Thank you for reading and thank you in advance for your prayers, and contributions.

<div>Sunday morning, June 23rd, was Nathaniel’s 29th birthday (many of you know him as Nate). Tragically, <strong>he passed away unexpectedly in the early morning hours that day</strong>. We are in shock and were looking forward to celebrating with him, but instead, we prayed for the doctors to save his life, but it wasn’t meant to be.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Nate leaves behind his two young daughters who were his world, Elsa, age 9, and EniyaGrace, age 5. All he wanted to do was to provide for them.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>We humbly ask for your help with his funeral services</strong>. Any remaining amount will be placed in trust for his daughters. If you are unable to donate, please say a prayer for his daughters. Thank you for your time, condolences, and prayers.

In loving memory of Nathaniel “Nate” Fiame

<p>Cassidy Oglesby is the 28 year old wife of Brent. She is a great friend and listener. She cares for the people in her life and sits with people in difficult times. She cares deeply about vulnerable communities and loves to help where she can, and she was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Appendiceal Cancer.
</p>
<p><br />
</p>
<p>In June they found a noticeable growth in her abdomen, after imaging they went right to surgery and found several tumors, one of which was the size of a small soccer ball.
</p>
<p><br />
</p>
<p>After recovering from surgery, they decided to go to LA where her family is for treatment with a doctor who was familiar with Appendiceal cancer. She was forced to take a leave of absence from her work at Intuit while undergoing treatment.
</p>
<p><br />
</p>
<p><br />
</p>
<p>Which is why we need your help.
</p>
<p><br />
</p>
<p><br />
</p>
<p>We are trying to raise money to put a dent in the overwhelming costs of medical care, out of pocket expenses, and unforeseen emergencies that our friends are sure to deal with as the year goes forward. Our generosity can help win this battle, and our love and prayers will carry them through the dark.
</p>
<p><br />
</p>
<p>Thank you for caring, and thank you for helping!
