Bamboo Springs

Description: I am raising funds to begin the first phase of Bamboo Springs. I already have the land, natural springs, bamboo, woods, wildlife, and the vision, but I need help with the startup steps that will allow this sanctuary to become real. The need for funds comes from the cost of getting the business properly started, preparing the land, planning the sanctuary area, improving access, and beginning the groundwork for the first peaceful cabin and basic infrastructure. Bamboo Springs is being created as a quiet, nature-based sanctuary for women — a place centered on safety, rest, privacy, healing, and connection with nature. As a 100% disabled veteran, this mission is deeply personal to me. I know how important it is to have a peaceful place to breathe, recover, and feel safe. The funds will help with the first practical steps needed to make Bamboo Springs real. My first priorities are business setup, land preparation, access improvements, safety planning, and preparing the sanctuary area for the first peaceful cabin. Support will help with filing and professional paperwork, clearing brush and debris while protecting the natural beauty of the land, mapping the best cabin location, planning for utilities such as well, septic, and solar, and beginning the basic groundwork needed before guests can ever be welcomed. Every contribution helps move Bamboo Springs from vision to action. It will allow me to start responsibly, build in phases, protect the land, and create the foundation for a quiet women’s sanctuary centered on rest, privacy, safety, healing, and nature. The long-term impact is a peaceful place where women can come to breathe, recover, reconnect with nature, and feel safe.
